"The beauty and size of the property was wonderful. It was private except a stretch of riverfront where we never saw anyone except for a friendly dog jumping in for a swim and loud geeese cruising down the river. I especially liked the large horrible on the covered patio. I forgot my swimsuit but that didn't matter."

"Great location right outside of Luray for an affordable price. Very quiet and easy to check in. We called and got our door code and we were in earlier than our check-in time. The rooms had clearly been remodeled recently with updated flooring, paint, furniture, etc. The sheets and towels were lacking though. It doesn't seem like they upgraded the towels since they upgraded the rooms. Very thin, very small. The door that connected to another room had a very wobbly doorknob which made it feel unsafe between rooms, but I wasn't overly concerned. Liked that there was a mini fridge with a freezer, microwave, and small single coffee machine. We had the 2 bedroom suite at the very end, so we had plenty of space for the 4 of us. We were only there one night so we didn't use anything else on the property, but it seemed ok and better than the hotels we passed in the area!"
