Privileged environment not far from the banks of the Saône, literally "cut off from the world" in an unusual & exotic setting. A real little "green setting" nestled close to shops & services as well as the historic & pedestrian heart of Chalon. Labeled "City of Art and History", the Burgundian city has a very rich heritage (half-timbered houses, towers and turrets, fortifications and bastions, Saint Vincent cathedral, former episcopal palace, Italian theater "the Piccolo", chapel of the Saint-Laurent island hospital…) & a level of cultural and leisure facilities of very high quality. Very comfortable apartment. Spacious & bright. Beautiful volumes. Warm contemporary character enhanced by the exotic atmosphere of an old residence. Lots of charm & character. Cozy & cozy. Large exposed private terrace, opening onto a pleasant enclosed, lawned & vegetated garden nestled at the back of the house (shared with the other gite in the house). Composition: Town house comprising two gites (totally independent, one opposite the other / common entrance from the alley, via a corridor leading to the 2 apartments). Wireless. Gas central heating. Ground floor: living room-kitchen-lounge, separate toilets. 1st floor: large landing mezzanine with office area, TV lounge (double sofa bed 140x190cm), 2 bedrooms (double bed 160x200cm / 2 single beds 90x200cm bunk), bathroom (bathtub/Wc). Garden closed in common. Private terrace + balcony. All amenities on site. Bus at 300m. Easy public parking on site (free at 300m). Literally little corner of the countryside nestled in peace, as if "cut off from the world" in the middle of the city! Very comfortable apartment - with a large private terrace & a pleasant shared enclosed garden - fitted out in a beautiful house from the 1930s completely restored with care (housing two completely independent gites, one opposite opposite), located 5 minutes walk from the station in the hollow of a peaceful residential area adjoining the city center. Prime location, very easily accessible, in the heart of the famous Burgundy river & wine city - labeled "City of Art and History" - cradle of the invention of photography by Nicéphore Niepce, close to all shops , services and monuments, 1 km from the banks of the Saône & the route of the greenway (connected to EuroVélo6), Saint-Laurent Island & its river marina (departure from the historic Canal du Center ), not far from the circuit of Romanesque churches and the world famous vineyards of the Côtes Chalonnaises, Côtes de Beaune and Hautes Côtes de Beaune and their various wine routes (including the illustrious Route des Grands Crus).
