We stayed in November and I was worried it would be freezing but it was actually very warm and toasty inside the bus, the shared bathroom was a few steps away, and the bed was super comfortable. We brought food to eat in and played cards that we brought on the dining room table. Gorgeous view to wake up to. Only thing to note is that you HAVE to call the owner upon arrival - there is no check in desk, so plan for that with your phone and any international...

We did not use the 3rd bedroom open loft area but it would be fun for children to have their own space with TVs and headphones. "This was a great house for trips to the Golden circle, and one longer drive to Vik. The kitchen was nice and functional, and or two kids liked their room. You can see the mountain and the power plant from the room, we never managed to your the power plant, next time... Checking in and out requires walking or running to the house if you don't have a means of texting in Iceland. This would normally be fine, but it was a rainy and windy day, so it added a bit of discomfort. Not an issue if you can...
