"The breakfast attendant was outstanding. She was so friendly and was on the run continually replenishing what was needed or constantly cleaning all surfaces. Never seen anything like it! Would have been nice if a loaf of gluten free bread was kept on hand but we did bring our own just in case. Any other staff we had contact with was very friendly also. Makes a difference in one’s stay. "

"I was visiting Nanaimo for 2 nights and this was my second stay at the hotel. Both times staff were friendly and efficient during Check In. The room was very clean (especially the bathroom), the AC was very cold which was was needed this week and the fresh continental breakfast and coffee was delicious and convenient for me during my stay in the city for business. "I loved this place, it was amazing, honestly! There was some damages to the walls when i got there and some patch work that needed painting. But i was so looking forward to a warm bath. And then i find the drains been broken. Other than that it was bad. Maybe a rug under the bed."

"This is a very nice hotel in a convenient location. We like to e-bike and the hotel is a half kilometer from two bike trails that parallel highways 19 and 19A. We biked the N&L Trail, Nanaimo Parkway Trail and a few connector trails, about 45 km. There are plenty of places to eat within a lm of the hotel. The staff even provided a safe place to store our bikes overnight. It was so nice and convenient we stayed 3 nights. It’s also close to the ferry terminal for the ferry to Horseshoe Bay. "
