Home With Outdoor Oasis in Downtown Raleigh!
3.0 star property
Downtown Raleigh
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2 reviews)
"very conveniently located 0.7 miles from the Convention center - an easy walk on sidewalk and main roads. Some of the neighborhood further down the road was "sketchy" as my kids would say but we did not feel unsafe at any time. Backyard was nicely done with lots of outdoor seating, a fire pit and grill. Outside we could hear traffic and a few trains but not inside the house."

When is the best time to go to Downtown Raleigh?
The best time to go to Downtown Raleigh is during spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

During these months, you'll find comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with lower humidity than the summer. This makes it ideal for walking around the city, enjoying outdoor dining, and visiting attractions like the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences or the historic State Capitol building. The milder weather also means you can comfortably attend outdoor festivals and events that frequently take place in areas like Fayetteville Street or Moore Square.

Families often find spring and autumn particularly suitable for a visit. The pleasant weather allows for enjoyable outings to the Marbles Kids Museum without the intensity of summer heat, and the numerous parks, such as Dix Park, are lovely for picnics and outdoor play. Many of the city's popular events, which are often family-friendly, are scheduled during these seasons.

Couples looking for a relaxing trip will also appreciate these seasons. The cooler evenings are superb for romantic dinners at one of the many quality restaurants in the Warehouse District or a stroll through the downtown area.
