"The room was spotless, modern and comfortable. The bathroom was large, the huge fluffy towels were the best hotel towels we'd ever experienced and the heated towel rail kept them beautifully warm and snuggly. The hotel is in a perfect location, right by the cathedral and within a few steps of great cafes and restaurants; we particularly loved the nearby Moroccan restaurants. Hotel staff were extremely helpful, with a good level of English. We couldn't fault this hotel."

"We have just spent 3 days at the Hotel , which is located next to Alhambra and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and quick to respond to requests or queries. "Barceló Carmen is in a great location for walking to Alhambra and the Arabic/romany quarter. There are lots of options for dinning close by. We did not take breakfast in the hotel-so was not able to evaluate. The room facilities were well thought out and everything was designed well for travelers. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
