"The check in was easy and staff very friendly and helpful.
The building is typical for a European city. The room was small but comfortable for myself a solo traveller. Would not be suitable for anyone using walking aids etc as the bathroom and shower amenities are small which is acceptable in a building of its age. The double bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Hairdryer, safe, hanging space, air conditioning, coffee & tea making facilities, toiletries available. The lift is very small, 1 person & 1 bag only
The lack of space was made up by the view of the Eiffel Tower out of the window. At night it was amazing.
Breakfast had something for everyone and was very nice. There are many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets etc within walking distance and only 8 minute flat walk to the Eiffel Tower.
This hotel is a little gem for a small Paris stay close to everything.
The only warning is if you can’t lift your suitcases up 6 steps then level 4 is not suitable but it was worth it for the view of the tower out of the window. "
"Rayz hotel was fantastic; the staff were friendly and helpful; they even got us in a little early. The inside looked beautiful! We booked this hotel to have the view of the Eiffel tower, and wouldn't you know it, we could ACTUALLY see the Eiffel tower. The view from the top was spectacular!
There were just a couple things I personally didn't like: the elevator was small, myself being claustrophobic it was kinda hard to be in it. Also, we booked a "joining room" so the adults could sleep in one room and kids in the other. The only thing was, the doors weren't able to lock open so we kept having to use our key cards to get from one room to another. And there was a third door that blocked both the doors before getting to our door (I'm guessing in case we got too loud going in and out), but it made a tight triangle shape when inside all of them and again, claustrophobic.....Other than those personal feelings....
