« It was tricky to find the entrance, as other reviewers have mentioned - for reference it is on Lujiali across from the Suwu office building - but the apartments were conveniently located, clean and very comfortable. The staff were also really lovely. There wasn’t a lot of cutlery but the kitchenette worked fine for basic cooking. I recommend as a food place to stay in central Nanjing. »

« A very cozy and professional apartment style hotel with friendly staff. Located next to a mall with variety of supermarket, restaurant and cloths. Within hotel got free laundry and my favourite ping pong table room with rubber floor mat. Front Desk/Amy was proactive and helpful in coordination for my groups of 11 pax transportation from Airport to Hotel, Hotel to Office daily return and last route Hotel to Train station all well arranged and negotiated a reasonable rebate price. »

"Version française : L’hôtel Pullman Zhangjiajie est très bien situé pour visiter les montagnes d’Avatar. Il se trouve dans la zone où les guides et les agences viennent récupérer les voyageurs, ce qui est vraiment pratique. En revanche, l’hôtel en lui-même est assez basique et ne correspond pas vraiment au standing annoncé. La chambre était simple, et je recommande de bien demander une chambre non-fumeur, car j’ai senti de la fumée dans les couloirs. Pour moi, c’est surtout un point de passage pratique pour séjourner une nuit dans la zone, mais pas un lieu où l’on reste par plaisir. La ville se développe encore autour de ses activités touristiques, et on sent que les infrastructures des grandes chaînes ne sont pas encore pleinement au niveau. Version anglaise : The Pullman Zhangjiajie Hotel is very well located for visiting the Avatar Mountains. It’s in the area where guides and travel agencies pick up their guests, which makes logistics very convenient. However, the hotel itself feels quite basic and doesn’t really match the star rating it claims. The room was simple, and I would strongly recommend requesting a non-smoking room, as there was cigarette smell in the corridors. For me, it’s mainly a convenient stopover to stay close to the attractions, rather than a hotel you choose for comfort or atmosphere. The city is still developing around tourism, and you can feel that the infrastructure of major hotel chains isn’t fully up to standard yet."
