"The proprty was ok but no frills the first room we had was ok for a back packers but not a two week stay the second room was great but bigger than two people need the staff were helpful most strugled with english but it was italy and its more fun that way hotel was in a good location to visit other towns and resorts but a car was needed"

"Excellent location for the beaches at Punta Prosciutto but you do need a car. Accommodation is basic but very clean and for £50 a night is a bargain. We stayed in 4 locations in Puglia and samana had by far the best breakfast. Simone who runs the place was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. "

"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. "The property looks amazing but a lot what you see on the images doesn’t come true during a normal stay. I had a superior triple room. We were lucky that we only had a child with because the room was tiny. We complained and all rooms are apparently the same size. I think images are only of exclusive bridal suites. The pool that isn’t square on the images is closed and only for weddings. Other pool is good and lively. That was the key highlight. Wouldn’t go back"

"When I arrived 4pm there no one at the restaurant I have to get the help from coffee shop opposite to call them up and waited half an hour. Later the restaurant reopen til midnight. It was Maundy Thursday the street was packed to enter the church, i couldn’t drive to the castle sq, not a free parking area, I have drive a further 100 m. The room on a narrow back street . Could nt use the tv, depleted battery controller. I was greeted by a handsome young man who can speak English "

"We flew into Brindisi quite late at night and needed an easy option to stay one night before heading down to the Salento and Palazzo Virgilio was perfect. Not even a minute’s walk from the central station, very helpful and friendly. The room was a little old fashioned but very comfortable. Fabulous breakfast."
