![The Gateway Arch, or the St. Luis arch to the West. Part of the Jefferson National Memorial. The observation deck is 630 feet up and is the tallest manmade monument in the United States. It opened in 1967 and you could either walk to the top or take a very interesting elevator to the top, small capsules that fit five people and zig zag their way to the top in four minutes. As I drove into St. Luis it can be seen above the horizon and because it is stainless steel shines bright as you come in. To anyone who can, I would say go, Seeing it in person it is immense! So I requested it and the only towels and they said that since I have only been there for three nights at that point, it was only a light housekeeping service.. to me this is unacceptable…. I also have changed from my original because the bed was not in good conditions"

"I didn’t have any hot water for the first 36 hours or so. There is no WiFi. The TV has around 15 channels but no remote. Neither of the restaurants were open during my 3 day stay. Beds are super hard. "

"The hotel room looked better in the pictures. We have platinum rewards and they did not upgrade us to a bigger room. The room is pretty tight and the bathroom is small with a tub shower. It was clean but a little worn looking. The view of the lake was spectacular even through the fog. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very modern looking downstairs. The pool was very large and nice."
