"The home was beautiful, met all our needs, the spacious and quiet yard let us escape and relax. Ashley offered quite a few local places to see. We would highly recommend staying and make sure to ask the locals of all the hidden gems that can be found in the area."

"After 3 nights in the Porcupine Wilderness the Bobcat Cabin was the perfect place to come back to. It was cozy and had everything we needed. Its simplicity and self-reliance makes it the perfect nature getaway. We were there when it rained and the hosts have made it the perfect spot to curl up with a book or take a midday nap. They were also very accommodating and responsive. We can’t wait to get back and explore more of the nearby trails. (If you stay here, heads up that VRBO links the address about 12 minutes south of the property. Enter the address left by the hosts manually.)"
Family friendly lakefront property on large wilderness estate with sandy beach

"We had a wonderful family vacation! The hosts, Sandy & Steve were near by to answer any questions and to make sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed swimming, playing in the sand, the hammocks, the swing, kayaking, canoeing & rowing. We also rented a pontoon and had the whole lake to ourselves, watching for eagles, loons and fish jumping out of the water. Campfires & s'mores, with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. Biking on the area trails and many trails on the property. Beds were comfy and it was so quiet. We are hoping we can come back next summer!"
"We rented the VRBO for overflow guests. The proximity to our house worked well for us. The VRBO has limited cooking options but that wasn’t a problem as the guests came to our house to eat. They seemed to enjoy their stay at the VRBO. "
