Super neat concept! The yurt was decorated beautifully and stocked very well. Bathroom facility was prestine. The communal kitchen was fantastic. And the movie on the big screen was such a fun time and super impressed by how clear and projecting the speakers are when in front of the screen, but not a problem when in the yurt. This was the closest fun accommodation I could find that was reasonably priced near the Sand Dunes, glad we took this option!

The Yurt we stayed in was very clean, very unique looking, the pellet stove heated up fast and produced great amount of heat, and stays very warm inside, the bathroom/shower facilities was very clean, warm and comfortable/safe being unisex, the only problem we had was our Yurt door was a challenge to open it require a good amount of force to open and shut, and the shower heads spray water everywhere but overall i highly recommend, peaceful, quiet, cute, great beautiful mountain views, great staff.

This was such a fun stay. I stayed In one of the Yurts. Beautifully decorated, plenty of room and steps to the super clean bathroom. The location is perfect for visiting the Sand Dunes. How fun to watch a movie with popcorn and fellow travelers. Highly recommend!

Very cool property. We stayed during the off season and were one of (if not the only) visitors that night. Parking is plentiful, though finding our room after dark was a little confusing as the room numbers aren’t visible from the parking area and there is very little lighting. We would definitely be interested in staying during the spring or summer when there are more visitors and we could enjoy sitting outside for a movie.

It’s such a cool concept to retrofit a drive in theater like this! The room itself is beautifully decorated, and well equipped. We also got to watch a movie while stargazing at night. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Even though it’s not as close to the Great Sand Dunes as some of the other options, it is well worth the detour.

Very beautiful, quiet, rural area. It was a relaxing place to get away from our city life. Our suite was beautiful very clean, modern and sleek. We'll definitely be back for another stay.

This is such an awesome hidden gem! Warching a movie under the stars was absolutely magical. The kitchen was clean and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!

The property was very clean easily accessible. The design and decor of the room was really neat and the view of the mountains were great for sunset! The common/shared area was perfect for hanging out. Wish we could have caught a movie during our stay but those are a weekend thing i guess. Overall great experience

This place is a marvel. Extremely tasteful, beautiful, and pleasant. Everything is just right and a perfect location for an art event or a small film festival. I am telling all my friends about it and look forward to being back.

Loved that someone took the time to bring this drive inn back and add lodging. We stayed in the Quonset hut, it was amazing. So enjoyed sitting on the lawn and watching Sleepless in Seattle and the popcorn that was a nice touch. We will be back💕

The most amazing place to stay. The yurts are immaculate and gorgeous. Quaint. It was such a cute place. Great for our family and great for couples. I will for sure recommend to all our friends.

This is a very cool place and definitely would stay there again if we were ever in the area again (stayed in one of the Yurts). Convenient and worth the 40 minute drive to the Great Sand Dunes National Park! (I think there are some whitewater rafting opportunities within an hour as well, and a great place/area to stargaze). Pros: -Just a neat place. An old drive-in, turned into a glamping/hotel. -the Yurt and shared bathrooms were very clean -Met the projectionist, who’s parents used to own the place (nice guy). -Was fun being able to watch a movie on a big outdoor screen, with the provided popcorn. -The wood pellet stove did an excellent job heating the Yurt (got cold at night). Cons: -Nearest food option is about 12-15 miles away, though if you have a cooler, you can bring your own food and cook it in the available kitchen/snack bar (kitchen looked very clean, with excellent features). -There is no on site manager, so for example, by the time we went to sleep, the paper towels in the bathrooms were already used/gone and there were no extras to be found (they did thankfully have extra toilet paper). Not sure how available anyone is if there is an issue. Suggestions: - installing a coded gate for entry into the place (the yurts and bathrooms were all coded locks) -Have a snack machine available in the snack bar for purchase. Would be easy to maintain and stock and add to the movie theme.

Beautiful room and community space! The water in shower needs to be a bit warmer. Checkin was awkward because I did not receive any of the texts (they had the wrong #) or email information to do so. Arriving late and in the dark didn’t help!!
