Our room was beautiful and very well kept daily. It was stocked with everything we needed, even bathrobes. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bar was nice, but not used very often. I felt bad for the bartender at times. The morning breakfast was good, and a variety of things so you didn’t have to have the same each day. The pool was kept clean but quite cold for swimming. The same for the private plunge pool on our private deck (gorgeous) but very cold. This location is easy walking distance to the main town area for a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shopping for gifts, etc. Right across the street from 2 fabulous grocery stores. The beach is about 4 kms, so 1/2 hr walk or you can get a cab, rent a scooter. I loved the area and would recommend it for couples or families with older kids. The atmosphere is beautiful, with a relaxing jungle vibe that makes it easy to unwind. The cenote on the property was definitely a highlight—such a unique and wonderful feature. The yoga sessions were a 10/10, and the on-site photographer was also excellent. The food at the restaurant on the property was really good as well—everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. Transportation arrangements were smooth and well accommodated, which made getting around much easier. The staff truly made a difference in my stay. Max was especially pleasant, kind, and very helpful, and Johnny was also incredibly supportive throughout my visit. The only downside was that the door was sometimes difficult and inconvenient to lock and open. I also purchased an upgraded room, which did not meet my expectations, it felt a bit small base on what is shown. Overall, despite a couple of minor inconveniences, I would absolutely stay here again. The room does not have a mini fridge which was very surprising to learn upon arrival to our room considering we are in a hot climate. The room also does not have a hair dryer or a coffee maker. In my opinion those should be included especially for the price of the room. The food was good however like everywhere in Tulum, extremely expensive, example you will pay around 30$CAN for a Margarita. There is a taco spot just accross the street which was good and comparable to North American pricing. The Starbucks is also right next to the hotel but the prices are absolutely ridiculous. All in all, I do not think the whole experience was worth the money spent. Because of these reasons despite the hotel itself being beautiful, I would not return.
