Our lake side home is perfect for romantic getaways, small families or friends that really like each other! This 2-bedroom home features a queen bed, twin bed, and a full bed, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. With amenities including an equipped kitchen, AC, heat, Wi-Fi, and a washer/dryer, your stay will be stress-free. Relax in this quaint, 104-year-old lake side cabin after a day of exploring the area or fishing. You're sure to make fantastic memories with a stay here at Al's Place! As fall brings with it, cooler temperatures, please know that we pulled the dock at the end of September to avoid bitter cold-water temperatures. You can still fish off the rocks on shore, but winter prohibits us from having the dock in the water year-round. We have been adding updates and special touches over the last year of owning Al's Place and are continuing to improve this charming, little, old home with a unique floor plan right on the lake. I don't think that I have ever stayed in a rental that was as well supplied and nicely furnished as this one. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you would need and a few surprise gifts like cookies, popcicles, and coffee. The outdoor experience was just to our liking and the lake was lovely. Our grandkids did some fishing off the dock and we caught 4 species. Bluegill, perch, catfish , and carp. They had a blast. We had other family with boats and they could dock at the cottage and visit. We had a cook out and the deck was good for a gathering of family. Bren was an outstanding host. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and the thoughtful touches like the birthday bunt cakes, coffee and creamer to get us started and firewood for our first night. The view is absolutely stunning and peaceful!!This host (Bren) went above and beyond for real! I have stayed at Vrbos many many times and she was the most informative the most helpful and ready to make your experience the best it can possibly be of anywhere I have stayed. She is truly part of what makes the stay so personable. I cannot say enough good about this place even right down to seeing an eagle while sitting on the back deck!! This house had everything that we needed, and they even decorated for the holidays. It was a fine place to stay, and it was phenomenal waking up to the view of the frozen lake. Let me just tell you, this is easily one of the best places we have ever stayed! As we arrived, we met the owner, very kind woman! This property has everything you could need for at least a day or two. All of the amenities for simple lakeside getaway. A large table to have family meals at looking at the water. (or in our case, a table for mom to kick daughter’s hind end in canasta!) Simply put, we cannot rate this property, high enough! Trust us, stay here! ##### Vicki L.
