Une adresse de confort dans une station à la mode
Cet hôtel est situé face à la fameuse plage de sable fin de Cefalù. L’accueil est chaleureux et dans un français parfait. Les plus belles chambres sont face à la mer avec un balcon pour les fumeurs et une antichambre si l'on veux loger 3 ou 4 personnes. Notre chambre spacieuse + de 30 m², la 52, était au 2ème étage (le plus haut) avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. La salle de bains, immense, comportait une baignoire et une douche murale. La rue devant l'hôtel est partiellement interdite à la circulation le soir, elle abrite de nombreux restaurants et gellateria. Les Italiens en vacances se promenant jusqu'à après minuit, la fenêtre et la porte fenêtre donnant sur le balcon sont équipées d'un double vitrage anti-bruit efficace et le son très affaibli ne nous a pas incommodé une seule nuit. Le portier de l'hôtel a garé gratuitement notre voiture devant la porte même lors de notre arrivée, un exploit accompli avec le sourire. Le petit déjeuner, très italien, est servi dans le jardin de l'hôtel. A 500 m de l'hôtel, à l'entrée de la vieille ville, le kiosque nous a réservé le Figaro durant tout notre séjour. Un conseil, le samedi ne manquez pas le marché qui se tient derrière la gare, au niveau du cimetière. En plus des fripes, vous y trouverez des marchands de fromages régionaux à des prix qui laissent rêveur les parisiens que nous sommes, de 7 à 10 euros le kg !
La chambre est spacieuse, entre antichambre et terrasse

Le petit déjeuner se prend dans le jardin
Face à l'hôtel, la plage !

Our stay in Sicily
Nice location, friendly saff, clean and find many street parking in the fall(24hrs 11.00 €). Like most hotel in Sicily building is old so if ypu are a light sleeper you will hear otber rooms flushing their toilets at night. With that said my wife and I will stay tbere again, just bring some ears plugs with you. cheers.

This hotel is advertised as being a 4 star hotel. However, I would barely give it a 1 star. The hotel is very dated and looks old and tired. It’s clean and conveniently located on the beach but that’s all it has going for it. I stayed here due to a last Minute Chang rob our palms for one night. I was in a single room and was given one key. I noticed the room was humid and stuffy and very hot. When I asked the front desk for an extra key to leave in the key holder to keep electricity on while I went for dinner and have the room cool down I was given a hard no by the front desk staff. YOU GET ONE KEY! He shouted. I additionally asked to borrow an electrical adapter and again I was told no not sure what you are talking about! Keep in mind this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I went to my room to check the AC one more time before I went for dinner and ran into a young man working at the hotel. I voiced my concern about the AC and charger and he told me the AC in this room is known to have problems and should Have never been rented out in the heat of the summer. Hotel was fully booked so they couldn’t move … He did bring me a very noisy fan to place in the room. At night when I tried to sleep on the bed I felt every metal spring in my back and body. Needless to say this was one of the most miserable stays in my travel history as I did not sleep a wink all night. The heat. The nosy fan and the rude front desk staff. Never stay here if you have other options!

This property may have been a four star in the 80s and early 90s however, it definitely does not deserve a four-star. It’s at best of three star. But it has going for it as it’s location on the beach and it’s proximity to the old town which is walkable within five minutes however, the rooms are small and tired and old. The air conditioning barely worked so we could not sleep all night. The lobby area again has not been updated since the 80s nor the rooms. The breakfast buffet had very few items, the rest being wrapped goods. The people at the front desk were nice and service was OK. However, the property needs some love.

Wonderful hotel
We had a wonderful time in Chefalu, lovely sandy beaches and water. Hotel Riva Del Sol, perfectly located close to the beach, clean, friendly staff and a nice Italian breakfast. We were fortunate to get a room with full ocean view which was stunning. I would recommend Riva del Sol to anybody.

Great hotel. Perfect location at the beach and 2 minute walk to all restaurants and centre of Cefalu. Fantastic service from staff, very clean, rooms serviced daily, great buffet breakfast with a lot of choice. Incredible valur for money and free parking. Would definitely return.

Fem härliga dagar där man verkligen kände sig som.
Städningen utmärkt. Lite tråkig utsikt men det vägdes upp av tillgänglig takterrass. Hade varit bra med fasta parasoller vid solstolar på terrassen. Dock kom personalen snabbt fram med parasoll efter förfrågan.

The hotel is in a great location. The biggest problem is NO air conditioning.Speak to front desk and they advised not working, or it’s not on because late in the season. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we were able to open the windows and doors. Our unit was on the waterfront with lots of street lighting. Noise until 3-4am. So, opening door and windows wasn’t a choice unless you can sleep though all the light and noise.

Hotel muito bem localizado, perto de tudo e em frente à praia. Excelente café da manhã, todos os funcionários muito simpáticos e prestativos. Hotel precisaria entrar no século XXI , porque parece ter ficado congelado nos anos 90. Sem problemas com isso, para o local, está bem apropriado. Recomendo!

My family and I stayed at this property for what was supposed to be 4 nights. We booked this property based on its excellent location and it checked all our boxes. After checking in and getting into our room, we soon noticed that there was no air conditioning in our rooms (something EXPEDIA validated that this hotel had). We asked the front desk and they said it was in the process of being fixed. Night time came, and still no AC. We travelled with our infant (5 months) who slept in a diaper and still screamed all night long because of how uncomfortable he was for 2 nights. We felt terrible for our neighbours who I’m sure did not get much sleep either. We once again asked the hotel what the deal was, this time extremely upset, and it was then that they had told us that the AC runs during the day and turns off at night - and there was nothing they could do about it. At this point, after being lied to, we ended up checking out a night early. The staff, minus a select few, are extremely rude and do not hesitate to lie to their guests. This hotel is very cute and authentic but other than the location, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Great location, decent breakfast, but other than that it’s not worth staying here. There is no air conditioning, but they tell you they will “fix it in 10 minutes”. It wasn’t until our last day they finally stopped lying and told us they turn it off at a certain point in the day. We had a baby with us, and I found this to be extremely disrespectful. The lack of air in the room makes for an extremely smelly room as well. It smelt of mould and was impossible to get rid of the smell. The rooms are quite old so I’m sure it was mould. Also - shame on Expedia for advertising the hotel as having air conditioning. The staff is ATROCIOUS - extremely rude and unaccommodating. I organized an airport transfer well in advance bc we needed a baby seat. We confirmed again the day before checkout that the driver would be there. The morning of our flight we were told we did not confirm (even though it’s in writing) and they had to call an emergency taxi that ended up costing us 60 euros more. They sit there and act dumb when they reaLize they are wrong. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!! There are other hotels along this strip which might be worth checking out, otherwise stay off the beach and take the walk daily. This hotel is a 2 star at MAX.
