Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind. Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. We don't spend much time in the room but it was just right for what we needed. We even fit our air mattress in the small living room for the third child. Beautiful view from porch. Property is very nice - RIGHT on the water! Do not expect to be able to swim at this location but there is a beach about 2 blocks away with swimming. There is a pool onsite that is a nice alternative too. 2 grills in a patio area are available if you want to grill out. Internet is VERY spotty - so if you want to unplug, this is a great location - but if you plan to work will husband fish and kids swim, make sure you have your own way to connect to internet!
