« not a comfortable environment at all, cabin was full of bugs and cob webs everywhere, have to pay for guest’s to come visit. They say speed limit 5 mph but they zoom around on go carts going past cars, then tell the cars to slow down, because you’re not white!!!!!!! Most horrible experience ever!!! Then got police called on us as well!!!!! »

« We attended a May wedding nearby so decided to rent via VRBO rather than the expensive hotel rates around college graduation time. Very pleasant stay in spite of being off season. Our dog played on the beach and in the water with the neighbors friendly young dog. « The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. « We were the first guests of the season and our hosts were wonderful! The space is smallish and clean with a comfy bed and excellent a/c. It was just enough space for my husband and I. The apartment is right on the lake and has a fantastic view. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities. Highly recommend staying at Carmella and Rod's place! »
