Large, clean home.

This property was clean and large. The Vrbo description says 4 bedrooms but it actually has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The kitchen is well-stocked, the view of the ocean is amazing. Our family of 10 had a great time here.

Nice extended weekend in Cayucos

My sons and their families joined us for 4 days in Cayucos. The house was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms. The balcony was a little noisy during the day from street traffic; but it was very quiet at night. Would like to stay their again.

Spacious upstairs dinning/living room is well furnished. Outside deck has great views of ocean and birds. Some Hwy 1 noise during day but quiet at night.

An adorable place so close to the beach

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Beautiful views, close to Morro Bay and SLO. Nice and clean. Owners very responsive and helpful.

not much on cleanliness.

it was a place to sleep. The floors and furniture had crumbs and paper under the cushions, the pillows were flat, the sheet in one bedroom had stain so washed it again with bleach and soap. On the door leading to the patio the floor was lifted or chunk of it was out. That is a hazard for elderly or children. Under the sofas the there was dusty and dirty, if the kids had not let something fall we would not have known. There were so many other little things. The location was great with the sunsets and the area was nice. Just not as good as some other homes we have stayed at and paid less for. I Feel that with the money they receive they could hire a better cleaning crew and put a little money back into the house.

Upgrades needed

Good value and location. But c’mon. For a $500 visit to Home Goods the property could be much improved. Comforter with holes in it that hadn’t seen a washing machine in a while, crumbs and hairs on the floors on check-in, sad pillows, Velcro curlers in a vanity drawer full of hair, and lipstick stains on glasswear (and on the only two wineglasses! c’mon!) in the cabinets (and said cabinets are in sore need of a good interior scrub). Contacted the Vacasa number left on the refrigerator and had a lovely chat with an AI bot that promised followup. That didn’t happen, nor did Vacasa ask us to review the property post-checkout. It’s fine, sturdy, excellent sunsets, very musty with a backyard full of thistles. Hope ya like plastic ware.

Excellent, comfortable stay!

This home is very spacious with better than average sized bedrooms, and three bathrooms. Close enough to beach and enjoyable neighborhood walks! The only thing that needs improvement is the lighting for evenings. Other than that this was a great home for our large group and my 60th birthday get-away! Would highly recommend and will definitely consider in the future!

Family beach Vacay

house was perfect for our large two family beach vacay. close to beach and town. house had well stocked kitchen, games and beach toys. we enjoyed watching the see life" lots of whales" from the deck, only wish there had been patio furniture to enjoy the view. we will definitely be back.

Good view and location

Pros: The ocean view was very nice and the deck was a nice place to sit and relax. The location was nice and fairly quiet. Short drive to the beach with plenty of beach toys for the kids. TV in every room. Cons: The dishwasher did not work well, I ended up hand washing for the week. The baby gate was not usable. The house below had their flood lights on most of the evening so we had to hang a tablecloth on the railing so that it wouldn't shine into the family room.

Beautiful view from the deck!

There were some really great things about this house and a few not so great things. The location is a short walk to the beach and not in the main part of town so most days we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. There were six of us in total, 3 couples so we each had our own bedroom and bathroom with plenty of extra room to spread out. The surf boards in the garage were a great bonus and my husband rented a wet suit in town for only $15 per day! The view from the deck was beautiful and we could watch the dolphins play almost every morning! Now the not so great… the carpet on the stairs and in the downstairs needs to be cleaned or replaced. I would recommend switching it out for a more humid friendly material. If you have allergies you will need to stay in the one and only upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The dishwasher is pretty useless and we needed to hand wash most things even after running it twice. We also had some trouble with the propane tanks on the grill and had to pay to switch it out. All in all we loved our trip. The house just needs some love.

Oceanview beautiful cozy place!:)

The photo can't show how much beautiful the oceanview is. Whenever I turn around from the stairs, I feel so happy and blessed to be there. There are puzzles and board games, so our family had a lot of fun with them. The location is very convenient to go to shops, the beach, etc. You can see the rock from the main street near the place. There were 5 full/queen beds and 1 bunk bed, so it's very spacious for up to 12 people comfortably. I highly recommend for family getaways!:D

It Has It All!

Such a lovely view of the ocean from inside with so many windows across the back. The living area was perfect for our family of adult kids and friends to cook, play games, visit and see the ocean. There were also plenty of spacious rooms and privacy for everyone with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean with plenty of towels and kitchen had all the supplies we needed. It was a great week together! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach home.

Fun Christmas Vacation Spot for our Large Family

Overall great property with plenty of space for our family of 7 to spread out. Two disappointments were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher and no wine glasses (few glasses at all). We enjoyed the closeness to the beach and view of Morro Bay!
