"A lovely country house hotel. Our room was very spacious with an outside patio where we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine. The bathroom was large with a bath and a shower. We ate in the “Tasting Room” and very much enjoyed the tasting menu. The area outside the hotel has pleasant area with tables and chairs which we enjoyed as it was a warm sunny day. The hotel is quite expensive, but we thought it worth the money. The spa was OK, small and a little tired but we enjoyed our swim in the pool....

As one reviewer mentioned, we were given a room at the Stables and whenever someone in another room closed the door, our whole room rattled. It made it impossible to get total peace and quiet. Only caveat is that it required a bunch of steps up and steps down, then a full flight of steps up to reach our room. This was ok for us but would be difficult for some. Bellhop carried our bags up and down. "
