I’ve been an avid traveller for 40 years, stayed in plenty of top hotels, and this place is easily in my top five of all time. The surroundings look like a postcard, the place itself is beyond idyllic, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Food was great too, especially the breakfast. The whole experience was magical, romantic and wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Also don’t miss a visit to the nearby little town of Castillina in Chianti. So cute! Plenty of wineries nearby too, including right up the road, ask for recommendations from the staff.
