The leasing agency was also very helpful leading up to our stay and was very responsive. The villa itself was beautiful and there was so much space for us to enjoy. We day tripped Rome and Venice from our villa via the Italian train and it was simple and easy to get around. The most fun we had however was staying close to the villa and visiting the small towns scattered around the Tuscan region. The views from the home are spectacular and will be definitely be heading back. One word of caution -- no air conditioning at this villa which is not unusual however when we were there the tempertures exceeded 100 degrees F. There is simply no way to air condition this beautiful property but come prepared to deal with standing fans. Also the road leading to the villa is unpaved and remote so take it slow or you will end up with all kinds of rock dents and dings and make sure you look for the villa in the daylight. The villa was impeccably maintained and the owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. The property is absolutely stunning and we all wanted to take the cook home! If you have the opportunity plan at least one meal in and select from the villa's menu -- you will not be disappointed. This property is centrally located to everything!
