Owned and renovated by local architect Antonella Ivone and her husband Angelo. Every details has been thought about during the renovation and decoration of the trullo. Situated in acres of private land where you can pick from the fruit trees and admire the olive olive trees which date back hundreds of years. Once you enter through the grand electric into the private parking area you can see immediately how well maintained this property is. The grounds, the luxury trullo, pool with jacuzzi and tennis courts are private only for yourselves. There are no other properties on the land and it is situated on a quiet country road so you will not be disturbed by passing traffic. Tranquilly and peace for total relaxation. There are 4 beautifully finished bedrooms. Depending on how your group is made up we will prepare each of these as doubles or twins. Quality, elegant soft furnishing surround you and the fourposter beds create a wonderful romantic feeling. The shower rooms are spacious, fully tiles and finished as you would expect of a trullo of this standard. The living area is tastefully decorated with one off items, beautiful leather couches and open log fire place. The kitchen has all model appliances and is fully equipped if you wish to cook inside. However most guest enjoy cooking and socialising outside in the summer months with friends and family and the outside space has been designed for this in mind. The cooking area is very spacious and comprises of a pizza oven, separate barbecue and gas hob. Dine in comfort at the solid wood table which seats up to 10 people and is situated under the covered gazebo area. From here you have open views over the swimming and the Puglia countryside. The pool area has been fenced and gated to ensure small children do not enter unaccompanied, so once the gate is closed you can relax in the knowledge your children are safe. For the more active and sporty amongst us there is the private tennis court within the grounds. You could work up a sweat with a game of tennis before cooling down in the pool or the fully air conditioned trullo. Private lessons can be arranged on request if you wish to improve your game. The trullo is situated close to Alberobello (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Castellana Grotte if you wish to dine out in the evening in one of the many excellent restaurants or explore these amazing historic towns. It is the perfect location to explore the local towns of Ostuni, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Polignano a Mare and is just 20 minutes from the award winning beaches of the Adriatic coast. Lecce and Matera (European City of Culture 2019) are around 1 hour away and undoubtedly worth exploring. You could also spend the day at one of the many chic beach clubs and eat fresh fish at the local seaside restaurants. In the past we have had public figures staying at the trullo and we take the security of guests and their belonging seriously. Although Puglia is a quiet area we give our guests peace of mind with an alarm system. It you are looking for a trullo steeped in history, surrounded by olive and fruit trees and finished to the highest standard this is the place the relax and unwind and is also the perfect base for exploring this beautiful region. Deux intérieurs très spacieux, confortables et chaleureux, une décoration sobre et élégante, des chambres cosy, le tout bien équipé. Le temps frais d’avril ne nous a hélas pas permis de profiter de la terrasse le soir, mais nous avons cependant cuit des pizzas dans le four sur cette magnifique et grande cuisine d’été. Nous avons pris les petits-déjeuners sur une des grandes terrasses, au soleil, face à un paysage magnifique à 180 °. Quel bonheur de prendre le premier café sur un des nombreux bancs et regarder le soleil se lever. Un terrain de tennis, une piscine plus qu’accueillante et un espace immense, fleuri si agréablement aménagé ont fait le bonheur de nos enfants et petits enfants. Située au calme, au cœur de merveilleux villages touristiques, cette villa permet également de jolies promenades à pied pour découvrir champs d’oliviers, de cerisiers en fleurs à cette époque. Il faut ajouter à cela, l’accueil chaleureux d’Antonella et Angelo, leur extrême gentillesse, leur disponibilité et les petits soins dont ils nous ont entourés. C’est un havre de paix que l’on a beaucoup de mal à quitter, en se faisant la promesse d’y revenir une autre fois, en mai ou juin, pour profiter pleinement des extérieurs. ##### Francine H. The property (including pool, outdoor kitchen and tennis court) and the inside of the apartments was exactly as appears in the photos and made our group feel like we were staying in a private luxury resort. The surrounding area was very picturesque and close to great options for day activities (we visited Alberobello, Locorotondo, Poglignano a Mare and Matera). And most of all, Antonella was a great host that went above and beyond to make sure everything went well with our stay. Highly recommended! ##### Tyler C. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation. The location in the countryside is breathtaking. The pool, grounds and inside of the trulli are perfect. The hosts went above and beyond. We had a flat tire about 20 minutes from the trulli and she helped arrange the tow and tire change and picked us up from the roadside. ##### Juliana B. We spent a week at this beautiful Trullo! It was so comfortable and relaxing! We took day trips to Matera, Alberobello, Polignana a Mare and Cassamassima as well as the small town closest to the Trullo, Castellana Grotte, where there is a grocery store, cute cafes, several good restaurants as well as a great hair salon (Antonella's recommendation)! We spent time in and around the pool and some of our group went horseback riding. The equestrian center is only a few minutes away.They provide a QR code that has pages of very good information on the area. The hosts, Antonella and Angelo are friendly, responded quickly when needed and helpful. We hope to return one day! Would definitely recommend! ##### Kathy A. What a wonderful place - the 2 trulli were beautiful inside and had everything we needed.It was great that they were connected by an outside courtyard where the 2 families could gather in the evening for a nice barbecue. The weather was very hot so we were able to make good use of the nice cool pool. We were greeted by the owner Antonella and she was so helpful in recommending sights that we should see. She was just a phone call away if we needed anything.The home is in the country but it was so close to all the amenities. It was our first holiday with our 1 year old and some friends and we had such a great stay. The accommodation is fantastic, clean and well presented. The best feature is the outside space. The view from the pool is just stunning. We spent most of our time sitting under the beautiful gazebo that links the 2 trulli and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. Antonella is a great property manager who went above and beyond to make our stay special and was always available to help us with anything we needed. Everything was as described well and looks beautiful. I only wish we had had better weather as it was quite cold wet and windy so we weren't able to make use of the outdoors as much as we wanted or get any use out of the pizza oven but if the weather is great for you then trust me, you will be outside 100% of the time! The pool is beautiful. Not very deep but great none the less. We all had a swim or two, even with the cold water. The views are lovely and it is super quiet which is what we were after. It's all very secure so if you have young children running around then you need not worry. We all made use of the brilliant tennis court. We had many day trips and on the days we were unsure of what to do due to weather conditions then Antonella was a huge help. Especially on the Easter holidays when I didn't realise everything was shut so we had no food! Rookie error in planning. All in all I can't recommend here enough! They go above and beyond to make sure you are all happy. Puglia is a beautiful area. Very quiet at that time of year but I can see how lively it can become in the summer. First, and most importantly, Antonella and Angelo were very welcoming and always happy to help - from recommending places to go and showing the boys how to use the pizza oven to booking a taxi when we had a puncture on our hire car. Second, the location is beautiful - secluded with a lovely view, but only 10 minutes from Castellane Grotte. Third, the property itself is perfect. It is actually two separate trulli with a covered outside cooking and dining area connecting them, so our teenagers could have their own space. We made frequent use of the swimming pool, tennis court and Angelo's vegetable garden. We were very sad to leave and hope to come back soon! ##### Gavin B.
