### Great Villa in the historic center, for tourism and pleasant stay.

In one of the most beautiful villages in Piedmont, between Langhe and Monferrato, a large house on three floors with three small gardens, a large kitchen, two dining rooms, 4 living rooms, a piano, music and reading rooms, billiard, table tennis and table football. For a pleasant stay in a tourist area of great beauty and interest. Equipped with parking, telephone, TV and wi-fi  
This 19th century villa has a special flavour, full of books and with a long history. You will feel at home and when you are not out visiting hills and cellars, the moments in the house listening to music, reading and consulting books or playing billiard will be as precious as the walks in the nearby villages. The position of the villa allows you to have places in the sun or in the shade at all times of the day because the sun revolves around and there is nothing to obstruct the view.  
The garden has flowering cherry trees, roses, a magnolia solangeana and an olea fragrans which spreads the smell of its small white flowers throughout the garden in September.  
Castagnole delle Lanze is located in Monferrato, close to the border with both the Langhe and Roero. Langhe, Roero and Monferrato are areas famous for their landscape (castles on hills rich in vineyards...), for their renowned wines (Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Barbaresco, Moscato d'Asti and Roero Arneis), for their white truffles and for the rich traditional cuisine.   
Castagnole is the ideal place from which to start for a complete tour of the area. Alba and Asti are near and in the right season you can enjoy the truffle and wine markets.  
In the town there are excellent restaurants and places in the square to enjoy an aperitif.

Points forts : Propreté

Elegant and spacious house in a breathtaking old village, we immediately felt at home. We were welcomed by Fabrizio who gave us an extended tour, so very kind! The kitchen is very,very well equiped and we enjoyed long and cozy family-meals at the big table near the fireplace. Although it was mid-winter, we had our morningcoffee in the sun in the beautifull gardens. Many restaurants and nice villages to visit by car or by foot. Would highly recommend this house if you want to experience the region with a lovely well-kept villa as your home-base!
