Minutes from the beach! This quaint, rustic cottage is located in the community of Cedar, just south of Nanaimo, on an accessible, yet secluded acreage. It is walking distance to the beach and boat launch and amazing trails, yet less than 15 minutes from downtown Nanaimo, as well as both ferry terminals and the airport. The quiet yard is surrounded by beautiful old maple, walnut, and fruit trees and overlooks the horse pasture and pond. It is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful morning cup of coffee or an evening sunset. An attached games room includes ping-pong, air hockey and foosball tables, as well as a dart board, for all to enjoy and entertain a family. Kids big and small, young or old will love it. The cottage boasts a cozy master bedroom on the main floor, situated off the main living area, and next to the bathroom. Upstairs is split in the middle with two additional attic-style bedrooms. A double futon is available in the living room, as well as a single sized roll out cot, both with supplied linens for additional guests. Also provided is a Graco pack and play, playpen for your little one. This 100+ year old original farmhouse has been freshly renovated, keeping its original rustic charm. We love it and think you will too! $50 cleaning fee for first couple ($25/guest thereafter) This cottage is located on our farm property, where where you may encounter our horse and our large friendly dog.
