Retreat -Home Close to Town Welcome to Mountain Retreat, a peaceful dwelling in a private community. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy a scenic drive through the backcountry on the way to your mountain destination. You’ll be greeted by beautiful territorial views and the calming sounds of nature. You will enter the home on the first floor, where you can find an entertainment room to keep the kiddos occupied, as well as sleeping quarters conveniently located next to a guest bathroom. While the kids enjoy the 4-in-1 game table and a TV large enough to binge that Netflix series in style, the adults can gather upstairs to relax and reset. As you head up the stairwell, you’ll catch a glimpse of the fabulous, floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace that acts as a centerpiece for the living room. This is a great place to gather for movie night or to lounge in front of the fire while watching the snowfall in the winter months. The wall of windows this room offers means that even when the TV is off, you’ll have plenty to watch if you just look outside. Just a few steps away, with its sparkling granite countertops and updated appliances, the gourmet kitchen is a chef’s paradise. Fully stocked with everything you need to make a vacation-worthy meal, feel free to impress your friends and family with those new recipes. When the meal is complete, you can all come together in the attached dining room to serve and enjoy! The other half of the upstairs is dedicated to rest and relaxation. You can expect to find a cozy queen bed in the first bedroom, and the master suite is where you will find the king bed. The suite is attached to a walk-in closet as well as a lavish double-sink bathroom. When snow and ice are on the ground, 4WD/AWD vehicles with good traction tires are necessary. Chains are recommended for all and a must for 2WD vehicles. The heated garage was so nice with below freezing temps. The upstairs is cozy and inviting, while the downstairs was great for games. We had 6 in our group and so much room to spread out. Three bathrooms! Gorgeous views, quiet location, yet close enough to Leavenworth it didn't feel like a long way to drive after a day of walking around town. The beds were comfortable.
