From here, a day trip to the charming town of Hood River, Oregon is just 20 miles west and closer, you'll find the historic Bonneville Dam, and boat tours of the Gorge are available on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, leaving from the Marine Park, a five minute drive away. When you're not out exploring this majestic natural area, this Cascade River Watch vacation home offers a spacious retreat for up to six guests. Relax in the living room for some TV and maybe a board game. And with a full kitchen, snacks and popcorn are easy to prepare and accompany your evening's activity. It features easy access to spots throughout the Gorge, with I-84 close by, and Washington SR-14 but a small drive across the Bridge of the Gods. Great to see Cascade Locks glowing up with new restaurants and brew pubs, too. Be aware that there are box fans in the house, which you'll find helpful for cooling down in the evening on hot days. The house is very clean and very close to the city center.
