« Établissement en retrait mais proche du centre d'Otavalo (moins de 10mn). Le jardin est charmant. Les chambres sont confortables et la notre avait une cheminée. Il a fallu demander à plusieurs reprises les serviettes et l'allumage de la cheminée. Nous avons passé une nuit blanche à cause d'une soirée organisée à proximité dont le bruit était assourdissant. »

« Navette de l'aéroport à las Cabañas offerte par l'hôte pour $70\. CAD parfait. Accueil chaleureux des hôtes et de la communauté indigène. Village sécuritaire, autobus pour aller à Otavalo ou à Quito à proximité et peu coûteux. Paysage magnifique avec vue sur le lac San Pablo et le volcan Imbabura. On peut prendre le souper sur place avec réservation. Confort minimal et rustique compensé grandement par l'accueil et le paysage. »

"Nous sommes arrivés et il n’y avait plus de chambre pour nous. Nous avions réservé 5 mois auparavant…. Vraiment décevant après un long vol et une arrivée au milieu de la nuit! Ne pas réserver là! Aucune solution de rechange du personnnel en place, c’est notre chauffeur de taxi qui nous a relocalisé."
