Apartamentos Casalarreina is located in the center of the picturesque town of Casalarreina (La Rioja Alta), right next to Plaza de La Florida and the Town Hall. It is surrounded by grocery stores, a butcher shop, bakery, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, ATMs, and a tobacconist, in the very heart of the urban center. This location allows you to walk to practically everything you might need without using a vehicle.  
  
Originally built in 2001, the building was completely renovated in 2024, including furniture and modern equipment to offer maximum comfort during any type of stay. With a surface area of 35 m², it is ideal for couples or small families (up to 2 adults with one child) thanks to its 1.35 m double bed in the bedroom and 1.35 m sofa bed in the living room.

The town, founded in the 12th century and rich in medieval history, is part of the historic-artistic complex declared in 1975.

Town history and background  
  
Casalarreina (formerly Nafarruri or “House of the Queen”) has a history with Roman-medieval roots, mentioned in documents from 1070 and developed around the infrastructure linked to the Monastery of Nuestra Señora de la Piedad, founded in 1514 by Bishop Juan Fernández de Velasco and consecrated by Pope Adrian VI in 1522\. It is the only Spanish monastery inaugurated directly by a pope.  
  
The town preserves notable buildings such as the Church of San Martín (16th and 18th centuries) and baroque palaces such as that of the Marquis of Vargas or the Constables of Castile, iconic examples of local civil architecture.  
  
Since 2013, Casalarreina has hosted an early music festival, with concerts held at the Dominican Monastery of La Piedad, attracting visitors from across the region.
