There is nothing quite like a Carolina sunrise viewed from your private oceanfront deck by RedAwning A18 - 1 Bedrooms, 1.0 Baths (Sleeps 4) Parrot Escape is your beach getaway to an incredible ocean view at this 3rd floor condo. Enjoy your morning coffee and the Carolina sunrise from the oceanfront deck with access from the main living area and bedroom. This cute condo is located on the North End of Carolina Beach near the pier and Freeman Park. Perfect for a day of lounging on the beach or fishing. Please read full listing for all information on the condo and surrounding area! When entering the unit you will be met with a parrot filled living room space. The living room space offers a queen sleeper sofa, Cable TV (plus amazing DVD collection), and balcony slider door. Off the living room, you are met with a kitchen. It is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker and few bar-stools for seating. Between the living room and kitchen, will be a small hallway which leads to a updated bathroom with a washer and dryer in hallway closet. On the other bed of the hallway leads to the main bedroom. The bedroom has a queen bed for your sleeping arrangements, large window to enjoy the view and balcony access. We supply linens for the queen bed in the bedroom and sleeper sofa linens upon request. The deck is a great place to have coffee and watch the sunrise or maybe just catch the surfers later in the day while sipping a margarita. If the timing is right, you will be treated to an absolutely stunning moonrise over the ocean. You will have be able to enjoy the whole one bedroom condo to yourself with a private oceanfront balcony with access from the living room and bedroom! There are 2 parking passes provided for the unit. There is additional over flow parking across the street around the Salmon Colored building labeled 'Courtyard at Seascape'. The pool is also located across the street between the 'Courtyard at Seascape' buildings. They offer some pool loungers and tables. There is also a smaller charcoal community grill outside the pool gates for guest use. (Charcoal is not provided). Enjoy all the Seascape Complexes have to offer. The pool is located across the street in between the Courtyard at Seascape buildings. There is also a charcoal grill outside the fenced in pool area for guest use. (You must provide your own charcoal.) There is overflow parking with valid parking passes across the street at any Courtyard at Seascape property. Parking passes are left in the condo for guest use. Please make sure your parking pass is placed in your vehicle immediately after arrival to avoid towing. Walk over to the Carolina Beach Pier to enjoy year round food and drinks. You cannot beat the view of this condo! Just a couple of notes: There are three flights of stairs (no handicapped access/elevator), so be prepared to haul. I did notice that the bedroom was about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the condo, so just be aware (again, it could have just been me.) The bed in the only bedroom was terrible. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom as well. There significant gaps in the door leading from the bedroom to the balcony, a door that is completely unnecessary. Overall the unit was far too cluttered and my girlfriend and I will have bruises on our legs from bumping into things in the path of the bathroom. The pictures on VRBO needs to be updated. It also indicates a communal pool which I thought was at the condo we stayed at, but instead across the street and shared with 3 or 4 other buildings. Also, I would recommend renting a golf cart if staying for a week or more. It’s about a 10min drive to the town where most of the restaurants and entertainment are located so I personally think a golf cart rental would be worth it. We loved the key west beach decor and the views from the balcony are fantastic!! For the price and the ability to bring my teacup Yorkie, this was a decent place to stay. Had some complaints in reference to the cleanliness. Kitchen counter and floors weren’t wiped or swept well and the first 3 glasses pulled from the cupboard were dirty. The bathroom sink was clogged and if it had been cleaned properly we feel they would have noticed it wasn’t draining and had it fixed before our arrival. Additionally, since Covid most places we’ve stayed at leave the sheets packaged for you to put on the beds. When we turned down the bed the sheets didn’t look fresh and there was what looked like a chest hair on them. I did bring these things up to the receptionist upon checking out and she seemed somewhat dismissive. This place felt to us like our friends were going to be out of town and said if you want to crash here you can. To the owners: you may want to speak to the property manager.
