Sep 8, 2024 #### Comfortable but small for four The house seems to be in a state of 20% remodel, 80% still needing remodel. It’s probably ok for two people to stay. So to start with the good. Location is amazing. Easy access to Carmel and all the surrounding areas. Five minutes to downtown Carmel and like ten to pebble. The bathroom remodel in the master was really nice. The tile was beautiful and the shower was really nice and large. The guest bathroom was also nice and remodeled although not as nice as the master. The master bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The bed linens and comforter were old. The bed protector was stained and they need a new one. Everything else was quite a menage of old furnishings and odd designs. The kitchen was nice although it was quite an odd remodel with the microwave inside of the cabinets and all the cabinets being quite old with some new appliances. The furniture all seemed to have come from odds and ends with much of it being older. I would definitely not recommend this house for more than two people as the Murphy bed in the guest room was odd and literally would float in the air when no one was on it. And what they consider a third room with a sofa bed is no bigger than a closet. We made the mistake of having four people here and this house is not really suited for more than two guests. If it wasn’t car well I wouldn’t have rented here and it was expensive for what we got. ##### George D. ### 2/10 Terrible #### Courtney N. May 1, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication #### AVOID THIS PROPERTY WHILE BEING MANAGED BY VACASA! Cute house but says it sleeps 5, 3rd bedroom twin-size pullout couch is unusable, feeling every spring in mattress. Sleeps only 4 people if u don't mind sharing 2 beds. I changed my reservation from 3 to 2 nights. Getting my refund required multiple in-app DMs, where they repeatedly said I wasn't eligible b/c the previous agent didn't process change B4 deadline. Not my fault, but I was told it was 2 bad. After long phone call, I finally got refunded. During stay, we found ants on the floor, which my friend also found in her suitcase when home. We had a window in the bathroom that wouldnt close all the way & couldnt be locked. Window was fully accessible from outside, & a person could climb thru it. Both of issues were reported 2 Vacasa. They said they would send someone over, but no one came. Later, I got a msg that the owner will replace the window, but it wouldn’t be fixed b4 we left. Ants were never reported. Outside furniture was filthy. After stay, msg’d b/c I had ?s about my bill. My original reservation (with adjusted changes) & my receipt on web didnt match. They sent a receipt that also reported charges differently. I msg’d back & forth with ?s, & they were unable 2 answer. After calling in & spending 1.5 hours I still didn't get answers, & they will call back. Service fees broken down showed we R responsible 4 all costs of doing business.
