Hyatt Carmel Highlands

Hyatt Carmel Highlands

10/10 Excellent
"Spectacular cliffside property. Absolutely AMAZING views. The property is incredibly landscaped. Staff are excellent and helpful. for seniors and disabled persons it is a CHALLENGE to walk to property due to Many steps and steep inclines between the main building/lobby/restaurant and rooms and parking. That’s the only complaint. Rooms are very nicely done and the bed was excellent. Also…the One ice machine on property was broken. Would stay again but would ask for a room easier to walk."

Pine Inn

Pine Inn

8/10 Good
"The staff were awesome. One problem was quickly corrected, refrigerator placed in room. Needed A/C, had to open windows because of the heat. Bed was placed with one side against wall and the end of the bed was facing the entry door (a no no for some Asian woman). My wife is Filipina and she did not like the bed placement. It was a small room and unable to move the bed to a better spot."

Carmel Wayfarer Inn

Carmel Wayfarer Inn

8/10 Good
"I found this cute motel for its super convenient location and walkable to everything. The beds are SO comfy! The room could use some cosmetic updates but for a nice place to sleep it worked well for us and our dog. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the courtyard. It’s a quiet, small town so there weren’t any noise issues. Parking is all around and there are a few spots in their lot but we found parking next to our door and never moved the car til we left. Thank you for a great stay! We will be back :)"

"We had two rooms and one guest found it a bit noisy at night. About 1km from shops (2km from beach). Bed was comfy but room a bit dark. Basic but pleasant. WiFi patchy."

The Quail

The Quail

8/10 Good
"The Quail is a very nice hotel, but unless you're into golf, there's not much to see or do there. Carmel is about 15 minutes away by car, but if you just want to step outside the hotel and walk to nearby stores or attractions, there aren't any. The facilities and housekeeping were excellent - our only complaint is that the toilet was incredibly low-height - potentially a problem for people with creaky knees."
