This single level house (no shared walls) 3 bed + 3 ba home features floor to ceiling windows on the ocean facing side of the home for an unobstructed, panoramic view of the ocean & a private staircase with DIRECT BEACH ACCESS! Other features include an expansive interior courtyard, views from nearly all rooms including a romantic ocean front primary suite, A/C, 4 parking spaces, 3 fire pits & beach gear. This neighborhood is known for its excellent surf break out front of the house & fun tidal pools to explore when the tide is low. Includes 4 parking spaces, beach gear & surfboards. Sleeps 7. OUR HOME Enter into an enchanting private outdoor courtyard which boasts an oversized gas fire pit surrounded by sofas large enough to enjoy a meal with your family. Snuggle up in the main living area in front of the gas fireplace in the comfortable seating to soak in the views of the ocean from the floor to ceiling windows. Having a place right on the beach was amazing! I’ve been coming to So Cal for decades, best stay ever. It is an older home, but very charming. We loved it. Easy bike ride to Carlsbad or Mission Bay. Rooms were nice, kitchen and other areas were nice! Cons, none really. Two rooms ceiling fans wouldn’t come on, but didn’t need them, in June! ##### Mike A. It has 4 bedrooms with comfortable beds, enough space apart from each room. A nice make up area in bathroom. A kitchen with everything you need. Large dining table. A living room with a large window to watch the surfers and seagulls. Plus a huge fire pit patio that was enjoyed in the evening. Our morning coffee was spent outside on the patio area. We took many walks on the private beach and loved the ocean view. I highly recommend this beach house. We will be back! ##### Beth & Jamie W. Common areas are nice and spacious with plenty of seating for everyone. The view is spectacular. It was nice to run down to the beach and come back up when it got chilly. After many stays in La Jolla we’ve come to love the less congestion further north. Our last trip we stayed in Cardiff and loved it. Moving a little further north we’ve come to love Carlsbad. The beach and restaurants are fabulous. We stumbled across this house very fortuitously. I can say without a doubt that this is by far and away the best location we’ve stayed and I’d argue that it might be the best location in all of the San Diego area. We wanted several bedrooms because we were unsure if any of our adult sons would join us (they did). The house was very clean. The kitchen well stocked with pots, pans and everything we needed to cook a couple of great meals. The beds were very comfortable. The greatest aspect of the house is the terrific outdoor space. Several seating areas all step down to the ocean. Obviously the views are unmatched. We all enjoyed looking at the ocean and following the surfers, the seals and the birds. Sleeping while listening to the sounds of the gentle crashing waves after watching the beautiful sunsets made this unique property spectacular. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d rate this a 10! ##### john h.
