The location is perfect for exploring local hiking trails, and the peaceful setting was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, and had plenty of fresh towels. While there wasn’t Wi-Fi inside, we could connect from the front porch—which actually made the stay even better, giving us the chance to truly unplug and enjoy quality time together. Had to communicate with the owner about getting hot water and they had very good communication with the questions we had despite them being away for a family emergency. Just a little heads up though that we are with Verizon for cellular service and we were lucky to get one weak bar in three random spots in the house so be prepared for no outside contact if needing to make phone calls or send messages. I was lucky to find a spot to message the owner when needed. The owners left a sweet treat and a welcoming message for our family as we arrived. It was a truly relaxed weekend even though we were in town for my daughters riding competition. Cabin was so quiet and peaceful. The waterfall out front was so relaxing and having the firepit was amazing, though we didn't get a chance to use it. We would definitely rent again.
