Just steps away from the Esplanade and Capitola Beach, this unit is located in the center of all of the local shops, restaurants, beach access, and so much more! The Space: \- Comfortably sleeps up to 4 adults \- 2 bedrooms \- 2 bathrooms \- There is one reserved spot inside the garage. We also provide a parking permit for street parking if you have an additional vehicle. \- Fully stocked kitchen w/ drip coffee maker \- Living room \- Small patio w/ outdoor seating & BBQ Note: \- No gatherings or parties allowed (strictly enforced) \- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety. \- Smart TVs with streaming capabilities (no local channels or cable). \- NO PETS Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire unit as well as the garage below the apartment for parking. We provide a parking pass for guests traveling with more than one car. The Neighborhood: Capitola is a coastal jewel in Santa Cruz County. This charming seaside village is known for its colorful beachfront houses, coastal boutiques, and fantastic dining options. With a relaxed atmosphere, Capitola is a paradise for beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the picturesque Capitola Beach and explore the unique shops and eateries. The city's scenic beauty, combined with a vibrant community, creates a perfect beachfront destination. Plus, its proximity to Santa Cruz offers easy access to the Boardwalk and additional attractions, making Capitola a delightful coastal retreat. This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property. Getting Around: \- Whole Foods, New Leaf, and Safeway (3-6 minute drive) \- Downtown Santa Cruz and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (15-20 minute drive North) \- The Monterey Bay Aquarium (50 minute drive South) Other Things to Note: \- This neighborhood is very lively and on a main road, so there is some traffic noise throughout the day and occasionally at night. \- There is one parking spot in the garage under the unit, but please note it is a very small space and would be hard to maneuver a bigger SUV or truck in this space. We also provide a parking permit and a map to the permitted spaces. \- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason. \- There are two Smart TV's in the home, however there is no Cable TV \- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Bathrooms are updated, and especially generously-sized. Bedrooms are in back of unit, away from street. Both bedrooms could probably fit Cal King beds, but the Queen sizes were comfortable. Ceiling fans were wonderful! Coffee, sugar and filtered refrigerated water was appreciated! Full, spacious kitchen. Loved the (long but narrow) garage parking option - a little tight but we made our CRV work by turning in side mirrors and going in/out slowly. Perfect location in Capitola. We had lunch in the sun at a local cafe and walked all over town. Great accommodations and good communication with the management company. The only issue was the garage which was difficult to get into. We were informed of this issue and thus did not use the car often after getting into the garage. We have an SUV. Really cute condo that is walking distance to all of the shops and the Capitola beach! You won't have to look for parking you can walk to everything and it is super close! You can actually see the shops from the unit's windows. The place was very clean and stocked fairly well with all of the basics you would need. We had four of us staying there and it was very spacious. The only drawback is the parking garage is very tight and tricky to park in, but we managed it. And only one parking spot, any overflow cars have to use their pass to park in public parking lot. I would stay there again and highly recommend this place! ##### Amy M. We cleaned out the ice maker. There was a massive block of ice. No one took the time to remove the ice and reset the ice maker it appears in months or longer. The same for the dryer lint screen. Dryer lint looked as if it had never been cleared out ever. There was a massive amount of dryer lint.
