We stayed on the middle level, the people above us, which apparently are owned units, were incredibly loud. When we called to have this addressed the front desk dismissed our complaint because they owned the units. Literally was like construction from 6am to noon. We were unhappy especially because of the price we paid and we were completely dismissed.

The townhouses are not individually owned. With that said, there are quiet hours that are in place and must be followed. I will be following up with the front desk to look further into this. Very old and dated . Needs major renovation popcorn ceilings filthy worn out carpet ! Highly recommend you don’t stay there . We left immediately after checking in , for 2 nights ! Just gross !

There is a courtyard where drunken guests gathered at night and made so much noise it was impossible to sleep. Such a shame that the hotel management did not intervene and the loud noises persisted well past 2am. Our experience otherwise was good but these drunken guests made sleeping impossible. Wouldn’t go back

We came in for coast guard graduation and I called the hotel and asked if we would be able to check in at 3 pm. I was told “Absolutely “ when we arrived, we were told our rooms were not ready and it was 4 pm. We were attending the coast guard dinner and since we didn’t have a room ready, our family of 8 had to get dressed in the Wawa bathrooms. We spent 500 dollars and was severely angered that nobody in the whole hotel was concerned that people’s rooms were not ready. Will never come back to this hotel.

The hotel (lobby and indoor pool) were good. The room was very small and the beds extremely uncomfortable. I would advised against staying in the rooms next to the parking lot as the noise level in insane. I will not be staying here again. Overall I didn’t think that for the price the hotel was worth, especially because of the guest rooms. Cape May has many other options that I will try next time.

From the moment we walked inside the main lobby. It was so clean and lightly colored decor. Not too many rugs, very clean. The room was so beautiful and well equipped and the balcony view was amazing. I do suggest a lifeguard for the indoor pool. Children were not properly watched by their parents playing rough in the water. So maybe a set of rules for someone to imply like a lifeguard. Other than that amazing cant wait to come back !

I came to Cape May to attend my friend's son's graduation from United States Coast Guard boot camp. After a long trip from the west coast, it was absolutely wonderful to be able to rest from my trip at the Grand Hotel. Approaching the hotel there was plenty of parking. Check in was a breeze (so was the weather...40mph gusting up to 60). The staff member checking me in was polite, professional, had a pleasant and friendly personality. She took time to give me handouts about the area including food establishments in the area that deliver food to your room. She was very helpful and for my whole stay all the staff answered my questions and all had wonderful personalities. Entering my room I couldn't have been more pleased. The room was immaculately clean. The bedding and towels looked and smelled clean. No bed bugs present. I was also suprised to find a small refrigerator/freezer, a closet equiped with an ironing board and iron, and when I opened up the cabinet under the bathroom, I found a hair dryer! Nice lighting above the sink in the bathroom. Two people can get ready for an event...one can shower in the bathroom with the door closed then use the sink and mirror to get ready while another person can get ready at the second sink with large mirror immediately adjacent to the bathroom. It really expedites getting ready if two people are on a tight schedule. The room had a round table, a table in front of the couch (fold out bed), cable TV, a nice chest of drawers, and the bedsid

The hotel was great, but we were supposed to be in a room that slept five people, but the room only slept four, and we needed to bring a cot in, so it was extremely crowded in our hotel room and not comfortable to sleep.
