The proximity to downtown, shops, and restaurants was perfect. They shot fire works off Cape Coral bridge on the 4th and we could see them from the lanai/pool area. There was a small tropical depression and it rained a lot, but we managed to make the best of it. Swam between the rain storms and it let up enough to hit up Fort Myers beach one day. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs, towels, and even fishing poles — super convenient since we flew in and couldn’t bring those along.The house was the perfect size for the two of us, and the host was very responsive and helpful. My daughter loved the sliding windows by the outdoor bar. One suggestion I would have is to have like a three ring binder with some info it, like wifi network and password, whether or not to wash the towels, what to do with trash, maybe some attractions or restaurants nearby.
