When we arrived there where cold drinks in the fridge. The house was also very clean. When going to the beach we can use the beach towels and chairs. For people who are only going to this location very handy so you won’t have to pack that much. The only downside is the distance to the various beaches, such as Lovers Key, Sanibel or Captiva. The proximity to downtown, shops, and restaurants was perfect. They shot fire works off Cape Coral bridge on the 4th and we could see them from the lanai/pool area. There was a small tropical depression and it rained a lot, but we managed to make the best of it. Swam between the rain storms and it let up enough to hit up Fort Myers beach one day. The master bed was incredibly comfortable, and we both slept great during our stay.Although the home isn't located right on the beach, it's just a short drive away, and the gorgeous backyard pool more than made up for it. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like beach chairs, towels, and even fishing poles — super convenient since we flew in and couldn’t bring those along.The house was the perfect size for the two of us, and the host was very responsive and helpful.
