From the lanai of this almost 2,300 sq. ft 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home, you will enjoy the electric-heated pool and a great view of the Gulf access canal. The mature landscaping and hedges provide a tropical touch to the property. Villa Joan is less than 4 miles by car from the next golf course or the Art Galleries and restaurants of Matlacha, and less than 4 miles by boat from the Matlacha Pass leading to the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The boat lift is UNAVAILABLE for guests. KEY FEATURES: This home has a foosball table, canoe and bicycles for guests. Living Room: The living room area offers plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen 55 inch TV and a pull-out sleeper sofa for the kids. Watch the electricity use, because they do charge if you go over. Make sure you are ready to leave at check out because they arrived right at 10 for inspection. The grandkids loved the pool and we loved the spacious and comfy home. Everything was clean. It was so spacious and came with everything that you could need. The pool was awesome. If you plan on fishing in the evening make sure you bring bug spray. We saw manatees and sting rays and caught a lot of fish, mostly catfish but we are not saltwater fishers so we may have been doing it wrong. We did get a couple of mangrove snappers and saw tarpon jumping. The beach is a little bit of a drive but it was a nice drive. The location is not great for fishing because it takes about 25 to 30 minutes to get out of the canal system thank the open water where you can get up on plane.
