Enjoy your stay in this large 3 Bedroom 2 1/2 Bath direct access waterfront home. Dock your boat on the covered lift and make your boating adventures easy and fun. When you are not boating or enjoying the countless other outdoor activities available in the area, you will enjoy a beautifully renovated home with a split floor plan which includes a large master suite complete with a large walk-in shower in your own private bathroom.
High quality beds and bedding enhance your sleep experience. The large open floor plan with a great room and screened-in lanai allows ample room for all guests to relax.
Matlacha Isles offers easy access to Matlacha, Pine Island and all of the other great locations to visit. No detail is left undone, from the large, fully equiped kitchen to the inviting bedrooms and bathrooms.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The owner was very cooperative and helpful with everything. He was even there waiting for us when we arrived to welcome us and show us the house, which made the check-in very easy.The house was very clean and well prepared. There were plenty of towels, bed sheets, and all the kitchen utensils we needed during our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the home had easy access to the Gulf, which made the location even better.Overall, it was a very good experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The host was great and lived nearby. He met us when we arrived to address any questions we had. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 1 pet. The boatlift was perfect for our 20 ft Grady White. The deck around the boatlift was thoughtfully designed to make it easy to access the boat . We really enjoyed the heated swim spa in the evenings. The beds were all comfy for a good night's sleep! We stayed for 7 days.

We rented this property because we were visiting friends and family in the area. The back yard was amazing. More than enough seating for several people, fishing right from the dock, a huge swim hot tub and kayaks. My boys main goal was to fish and it did not disappoint. They got to kayak with a dolphin. The living room is huge and inviting. The bedrooms were very nice. We played games, made many meals and very much enjoyed this property.

Fabulous Stay

Our family stayed at Ed’s home to celebrate the new year. The home was perfect for us & exceeded our expectations. The location on the canal was absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet & peaceful. Ed stopping by shortly we arrived, to show us around was an added bonus. We would highly recommend this rental!

Long Weekend Getaway

Great property for a end of summer boating vacation. We stayed for a few days and brought our boat for some fun and fishing. Home was well stocked we had plenty of room for our family of five. The dock had more then enough room for our 26ft Center Console and canal was easy to navigate. We plan to stay again in the future.

Relaxing in Fishin Inn

This vacation was just what the doctored ordered!!! Great location and exactly nothing to do except hang out with my family and reconnect. The house is beautifully appointed and the host is easy to work with. Maybe a notebook to answer faq would be the only improvement needed.

Comfortable Respite

Three comfortable bedrooms with two and a half baths allowed the four of us to have quiet, private spaces. Great socializing areas too and a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed the sunroom and open sitting areas by the salt water canal. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy the hot water spa but urge you to on your visit. We would definitely recommend this house to friends.

Great house for outdoor time!

Very clean house! Fully stocked kitchen! Amazing backyard with everything you need for a fun and relaxing time! Easy boat lift and access to inshore and offshore fishing! Ed is an extremely responsive and helpful host! We will stay at this property again!

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay here! Excellent communication with Ed, and everything was exceptionally clean. We loved that all the bathrooms were updated, with the master bath being wonderful. Loved the swim spa as well as having a place to keep our boat. Also, Publix is super close for all your last minute needs. We made use of the grill a couple times which was awesome, as well. We visited Cayo Costa during our stay here. What a gem! Also did a little fishing. Memories to last a lifetime!

Perfect property

This house was such a fantastic home away from home. We travel a lot and this place was so well stocked, it was more like staying at a family members home rather than a VRBO. We brought our 24 foot center console and it fit perfect on the dock, Ed was great for communication and advice on boating and where to go/eat. The only thing that was different was checking in, the house was left open and Ed came by in the evening to give directions on the home. There was nothing at all weird about the interaction but I do travel frequently alone with my daughter and this would have made me nervous if my husband had not been with me. Once again it was a great interaction but just something to note if you get nervous about that type of thing. The house is an incredible stay, our kids have already asked if we could go back and we hope to have the opportunity!

Matlacha getaway

This was our first trip to Florida and we would definitely come back! The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our travels. The property is in a great neighborhood with very nice neighbors and is in a good location to see lots of sights. Highly recommend a stay here!

A quiet and comfortable base for a Matlache stay, exactly as described.

The property and location are as described. Here's what you need to know about Ed. Before committing I told him that my party included an elderly person with restricted mobility and asked whether the main level could accommodate a person who could only deal with a limited number of steps. What he described was satisfactory. Nonetheless upon arrival, we found Ed took the initiative to instal extra hand rails. They really helped! He is a hands-on owner who eagerly responded to any concern or request, from hand rails to a mallet for stone crabs. He is also a long term local who was forthcoming with his knowledge of Matlache and Pine Island, which also improved the enjoyment of our stay..
