The beds weren't very comfortable, so recommend replacing with King or Queen beds. Also, the HVAC wasn't working properly downstairs for most of my stay, which made it very uncomfortable downstairs. We enjoyed time on the front porch, used the grill, and also sacked out on the couches and watched tv. :-) The home was clean and comfortable. AC worked great, laundry and dishwasher were efficient. The upstairs bedrooms were bright and welcoming and the bathrooms were all roomy. The location requires a car or golf cart to get to the beach (or a bike, if you don't bring a lot of stuff with you!) but that wasn't a problem at all. Cape Charles is so small that nothing is actually far away. Overall it was a terrific rental and I'd gladly stay again. It was clean and spacious with a full bathroom on the first floor for anyone who decided to sleep in the back room rather than heading upstairs. Unfortunately, it rained for most of our stay, so we appreciated the huge selection of television channels/apps as well as the perfect card-playing table.
