Attention has been paid to every last detail at Always Sunny, and it is sure to 'wow' you and your guests! Upon arriving at Always Sunny, you are greeted by a delightful southern style front porch complete with rocking chairs for relaxing in the breezy summer evenings. The first room you enter is a bright, spacious living room that features a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, plenty of seating, and that is accented by pine hardwood flooring that flows into the entirety of the interior of the home. A cased opening leads you to the dining room that features arched windows that allow sunlight to pour into the elegantly designed space. Beyond the living and dining rooms, you enter the jaw-dropping kitchen complete with quartz counter tops and back splash, all brand new high-end appliances, which include a microwave, flat cooktop, oven, washer and dryer, and gorgeously built-in refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and wine chiller. The kitchen also features a long wooden wet bar conveniently located for easy entertaining and family gatherings. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of cookware, baking pans, a crockpot, a blender, a food processor, a French Press and a drip coffeemaker. The first floor of the home also presents a bedroom with a Queen bed and an en suite bath with marble tile and upgraded finishings. The second floor of the home features two bedrooms; one bedroom that features a King bed and daybed/trundle and attached balcony, and one bedroom that contains two Twin beds. A marble tiled full bath is located off the second floor hallway. The third story conveys the fourth bedroom which features a Queen bed and yet another marble tiled en suite bath. There are sound machines with white noise and alarm clocks (each with 2-USB charging ports) in all four bedrooms. Need a space for kids to play separately from the adults? Dropping a couple stars due to the cleanliness of the place. The kitchen was full of old/open food. The kitchen was also filthy (dirty dishes, dirty freezer/fridge, crumbs everywhere including the washer dryer) The house was also still full of sand when we checked in. I'd also like to add that the front large bedroom only had temporary paper shades that kept falling down. The towels were far to small as well. I think this is just a mgmt company issues. The three levels with bedrooms worked great. The top floor has short steep steps, but was fine for our daughter. The downstairs bedroom gets a little stuffy at night, we plan to bring a fan the next time. The kitchen, dining area and living room were wonderful. We enjoyed preparing meals there. There wasn’t a cutting board that we could find. We stacked a couple paper plates together to slice veggies. Bed and bathroom linens are provided. Bring your own kitchen towels and beach towels. We enjoyed coffee on the front porch in the morning, and s’mores in the back yard in the evening. We used a little “city burner” for s’mores. The town is very walkable. We did not need a golf cart. Most of the shops close at 6:00\. Beach wagons worked great. The beach closet was well stocked. The house was a great fit for our family. The house was perfect for our group - there were multiple generations on the various floors, which made the house feel cozy and functional. Every room looked beautiful and new, while retaining some of the older house charms. It is a perfect location for walking or golf carting to the beach, nearby park / playground, and Cape Charles restaurants & shops. The property managers were very responsive during check-in (we couldn't get the key code to work) when we first arrived. They also called a plumber to check on a water issue and that was resolved promptly as well. We used the side garden for family meals and some soccer games with out toddlers. We also did sidewalk chalk and the grandparents read books on the rocking chairs on the porch. We were lucky to have ideal weather the whole trip. We are so glad we took our family trip here and would highly recommend to others! ##### Heather P. Bedrooms on all 3 levels, a well-appointed kitchen, and large dining table accommodated our family’s needs perfectly. Location could not be improved upon — short walk to the beach and town. Home was well appointed and included games and other fun activities to occupy us on a rainy day. Was so close to downtown that a trip for ice cream or dinner at the Shanty was an easy walk or golf cart ride away.
