Welcome to "The Hillside Retreat"

Nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country, this well-appointed home provides the perfect home base to entertain families and friends with easy access to Canyon Lake, local vineyards, and other Hill Country attractions!

New home completed in 2021 with all modern amenities. You may never want to leave! Brand new pool, hot tub, BBQ grill and fire pit in the backyard. Tons of privacy and hillside views of Canyon Lake and surrounding area.

* NO PETS ALLOWED!!!
* Day-only guests are charged $25/per person.

STEP OUTSIDE: Covered back deck w/ outdoor living furniture, ceiling fan & gas grill, fenced-in backyard w/ private pool & hot tub, firewood, Adirondack chairs & wood-burning fire pit.

INTERIOR LIVING: Modern interior, ceiling fans, dining table, 2 cable TVs. Inside, sit comfortably on the large sectional couch while and watch your favorite shows on the 65-inch TV with sound bar on the first floor. Wet bar and refrigerator also on the first floor provide easy access to beverages while entertaining inside or out. Two of the three bedrooms (queen) are on the first floor along with washer/dryer and first full bathroom. King-size bed in upstairs master bedroom w/ on suite bathroom

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, tile backsplash, dishware & silverware, drip coffee maker, knife set, blender, toaster

Canyon Lake

We loved our stay! The pool, the hot tub, the views - all, as advertised. Beds were comfortable. Located at the end of a road, no traffic near us. Quiet area. Grocery store and places to eat within 5-10 minutes. About 45 minutes to The Riverwalk in San Antonio, about an hour to Seaworld. Property manager was very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay, would highly recommend!

Relaxing Weekend

The house was wonderful but it is the pool and backyard views that are the real attraction here. What a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the birds chirping and the water fountains in the pool.

Gorgeous getaway for a long weekend

This house was perfect for my kids and parents. The pool is beautiful and the sunset views are fantastic. We even made s’mores down by the fire pit. My husband did have to go buy wood so that is something to think about purchasing before you head out there. We also bought containers with lids for food we had left over since we cooked a lot. There was an incident with ants both upstairs and downstairs so I hope the pest control takes care of that. Close enough to New Braunfels if you want to spend a day at schlitterbahn. I would definitely return to this house. My girlfriends already want to have a girls weekend there!

Lovely Hill Country Property

The property was easy to find and views are gorgeous. There were four of us ( two couples) that stayed for five days. The weather was hot and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the pool.The pool is really nice and has a hot tub and infinity edge to look over. We were visited daily by redbirds and saw a few deer walk past the fence. The house was clean and had all the essentials you need. We grilled sausages on the gas grill. We bought all we needed at the local grocery. We had one question on the tv and the owner was quick to answer our call and help us. The property is in a good location for day trips in the area. We highly recommend and would stay again.

Fall break getaway

The house is nice and away from neighbors. The pool is awesome, hot tub included. When I arrived the grill was found toppled over (possibly due to T-storms) had to pick it up and re-assemble the grates and burners. Luckily the grill still worked as our plan was to use it. The upstairs primary suite double doors that lead to the upstairs balcony were also found wide open when we arrived and carpet was damp(again, possible T-storms and wind.) The house has 3 rooms total, we used both rooms downstairs. The host arrived during our stay to check upstairs room carpet, which was ok with us. That room did have a wet smell, especially on morning of checkout. Overall it was a nice stay and weekend getaway. You get nice views, sun sets are awesome.
