It offers easy access to the beach and town, as well as plentiful outdoor activities. What's nearby This rental is about a block from the sandy beach and just a short walk to Haystack Rock and its resident wildlife. The downtown business district is also a short walk away, where you'll find shopping, dining, and art galleries. Ecola Park is less than two miles north for challenging hiking trails, and if you need to do any laundry during your stay, the Cannon Beach RV Resort offers a public laundry facility. The location is amazing and overall our experience was ok. The inside is small (barely enough room to walk around the bed) and simply furnished. It was clean but felt a bit run-down (there were a bunch of tiles missing in the shower floor). The kitchen had enough tools to cook very simple meals. The internet worked in the living room but we couldn't get good enough signal in the bedroom. Overall we were satisfied but not impressed. The living room rug was spotted like it had been wet at some point and never shampooed. The heater in the living room was on and there was no way to shut it off despite it being warm out. This cute little place has potential and my daughter loved the idea and look of it, which is why I ignored some of the reviews and took a chance. It’s cute, but that’s about it. Couch is uncomfortable and run down. Bed isn’t too bad. More than once we struggled finding parking. Not sure if people had extra cars, but there weren’t enough spots. Wi-Fi didn’t work, cable didn’t work and ants are EVERYWHERE. We had to keep all food in the fridge and still had ants on everything, including us. Other than that it was a quite place even though there were others vacationing there in the other cottages. Close to beach and the state park for hiking. Town is lovely.
