It was well stocked with various appliances, pots, pans, etc. for cooking. The covered parking was nice to keep the snow and ice off our vehicle. Elevator was out of order and we were only informed the day before and we had an elderly member in our group that struggled with mobility. Would have cancelled the booking if known sooner and they had known for over 10 days. Was not provided any compensation, only a simple apology. This has an impact on our stay and being able to get out and about. On a good note, had plenty of supplies to make a stay comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working properly during warmer than usual temps outside. So the place was very warm and uncomfortable. In addition, there was no hot water for 24 hours due to a water heater issue in the area. So our stay was less than ideal. We did like the resort complex and Canmore/Banff area though. ##### Lyssa B. Sep 25, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy #### DISAPPOINTING-OVERPRICED Upon arrival the condo had an intense smell of curry; I had to open windows and spray with aerosol to get rid of the smell. The building had very warm hallways, appears there was no air conditioning in the hallways. The pool was in another building; only way to get there was through the parking garage! The beds were marginally comfortable, lower than expected. There was construction garbage left on the deck that should have been removed. The light fixture over the kitchen island was dusty, as well the plants on the dining table. There was slight damage to the baseboard in the dining area and slight damage to the window screen in the living area, upon arrival. Overall the condo was disappointing, overpriced. Three parties involved added some challenge, VRBO, Samsara Resort Management and Bellstar!
