This gorgeous, well-appointed 3 story home has 3 bedrooms, two on the second floor and a stunning third floor master suite. All bedrooms are equipped with king beds and private bathrooms. Each has a wide veranda looking out to the ocean with comfortable table or sitting areas. The woodwork is sumptuous. Made of rich, tropical wood in a deep brown. The wood is set off by all the lovely color accents in the home. Relax in the comfortable living room with the large flat screen TV, DVD and Sonos music system and free Wi-Fi. Lovely, private, walled garden and pool area. Fully-equipped kitchen and a dining table that seats 6\. \*Please note: the house is NOT suitable for children under 7 because of the open, tile staircase and steps into the sunken living room. \* Only a 1/2 block from the beach and 4 blocks to the town square, great location in a safe, peaceful neighborhood. Casa Agua Azul is a beautifully decorated home with a great floorplan, and in a great location. It had several outside spaces to socialize or get away for quiet time. Access to the beach was a block away and the town square was about 4-5 blocks away. The stay was enjoyable and seamless, but a suggestion for improvement would be for a staff person to meet at the house upon arrival and/or to update some of the instructions in the 'house book.' At the casa agua Azul property. Our daughter was married at a local restaurant Las Sirena, Abbey Del Sol Staff was easy to communicate with, better to use their website then VRBO. Jin stepped in to interpret for us between rental car agency and private transport from resort. Ask Jin about “Roberto” and a rental car agency just outside of airport, BEST deal on a minivan outside of the chain companies. We used this rental car service through “Claudia” at the PM travel agency but Jin at Abbey Del Sol also knows/refers them. House was beautiful, gorgeous staircase is a little narrower than some pics I have seen (remember you will need to carry luggage up, we did successfully) husband joked need a slide or pole to come down. Definitely not for children or those with mobility issues. Freezer didn’t work, kinda a bummer as we brought items we had hoped to freeze and take with us on our adventures. Only one safe, not in main master but on second floor master it wasn’t working, thankfully house was safe/secure with gate and such, town seems to be pretty safe and patrolled well so no issues. Close enough to walk to and from town we did a few times as parking is little to none even in off peak august time, nice size grocery store, house had 5 gallon water bottles and hot/cold water dispenser, salt/pepper, small amount of coffee, sugar, hotel size shampoo/conditioner, We bought laundry soap, cooking spray, more coffee, breakfast items, snacks, beer etc. backpacks are a must, sun hats. Bring a reusable water bottle we were continuously filling disposable plastic ones & bring/buy BUG Spray!!! Aerosol spray can be in checked bags for plane. Most restaurants will give you if you ask but we found it’s definitely needed at other times like an evening dip in the pool which was a nice amenity at the house. The sound system was great, I used it to wake everyone up ;) house was beautiful, with great attention spent on decorating and staging, ideal layout. staff was pleasant and friendly, don’t hesitate to ask them to contact and interpret for you to other businesses. We enjoyed our stay, definitely recommend Abbey Del Sol, they have a “team”. We found most respectful businesses know one another in this small town. We are a family of 7 adults from late 20s to 60s. We used the pool area a lot, loved the palapa patio in the evening. We walked to town to eat at least twice per day. The house is large, beautiful, fully furnished. Access to the beach is through a garden gate, walk half a block and take a turn - the beach is one property away. Jin was very helpful throughout our stay. He helped us with a car rental the very next day. He answered all our questions was very patient and polite and always with a smile. The views from the house were astonishing, and the house itself was very comfortable to live in. It was a great experience for our family and recommend it to everyone. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul. We felt we were staying at a five star resort! The property is beautifully decorated, in a super quiet area and only one block from the beach. Everything you need is provided including beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. We cooked most nights on the patio while my daughter splashed in the pool. The property management group went above and beyond to make sure our stay was amazing- and it was! Our favorite area was the second floor balcony facing the front of the house. We often spent many afternoons there enjoying a cold beverage or reading a good book. It’s a great people watching spot as well :-) There are plenty of delicious restaurants within walking distance and we walked to town often at night. We enjoy La Choza- their Mexican breakfast is delicious! Puerto Morelos is a very safe area. We traveled with a child and were comfortable in the town. We can’t wait to come back! They even moved us further back into a much safer property and constant checked in on me. The house is very spacious, clean and the pool makes the trip worth it! You’ll be parking streetside but the neighborhood is very safe. Bring OFF!!! Casa Agua Azul is by far the best villa around !! What an incredible place and home to stay. The view is absolutely astounding. We were in awe from start to finish with this place. The staff here is just so respectful and available. They are always ready to help. The small town of Puerto Morelos is warm and friendly. The local restaurants and animation was really a great experience. The colourful buildings and locals were a joy to see. We definitely recommend and will be back for sure !
