The concierge Israel did such a good job that i gave 3 stars instead of 2\. The place is old, and all the bars are closed down except the beach bar. Closed poolside bar and main bar is closed. All inclusive is not a true statement for this place. Its more like the cheapest option at the one place not shut down is their version of all inclusive. Laundry service pretended to be included, but after it was cleaned i got charged $100\. The general cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Food is good, don’t expect a 5 star restaurant, but it’s cozy and warm. The common areas like the pool, bars and restaurant are clean and well maintained. The best of this hotel for sure is the staff, always trying to make you feel special. We’ve noticed some things that were not as nice on the maintenance side of the hotel, parts of the ceiling falling from high heights and some of the bar top was missing. Other than that, we had a great time at Solymar.
