Hotel was quiet and safe. Loved walking out on the little deck and directly into the pool. Beachfront was clean, quiet, and quaint. Only complaint is the server wouldn’t let us take our coffee (from breakfast) to our room to enjoy on the deck while relaxing. Antonio, the host, was fantastic, and allowed me a late checkout so I did not have to spend hours waiting to board the train. The restaurant staff was excellent, and treated me like family and the food was delicious. Overall, my stay at the hotel was fantastic. My room was very confortable, had a lovely view of the mangrove forest and sea, and I appreciated the double door system that significantly reduced the noice from the road. Other than that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They especially took precautions for my safety as a solo traveling woman. The room and hotel is beautiful. I had breakfast and dinner once and both were good as well as the drinks. I did have a bit of trouble with the AC in my room not turning off.
