I knew as soon as I drove up to the property As soon as I walked into the room, I was like “oh no, there is no way I’m staying here!” It’s a place where you couldn’t even take your shoes off to walk to the bathroom. I don’t think Wyndham understands who is representing their property or they would pull that license. It was terrible! And it was more like an apartment than a hotel because people were actually living there. I thought I was gonna wake up chopped up and stuffed in the ice machine. We were informed there would be no breakfast service. It would have been nice to have heard about that when I made the reservation a month ago. We were initially led to a room that stunk of mildew and was about 50 degrees. We refused to stay in that room. They sent us to another room, where neither of the lights by the beds worked (there were no plugs, the cords had been cut), using the TV was difficult and required the front desk person to come upstairs. When we needed more toilet paper, no one answered three calls to front desk. Every time we came into the hotel, one or more of the staff were standing out front smoking. Overall, very disappointed. We have stayed in that motel seven out of the past eight years and have never been dissatisfied. When we went to our room the sheets were stained, there was no place to hang your clothes. phone in room unusable to contact front desk and difficult to get room cleaned and they only did it once after promising to put us on the schedule on Monday and not cleaning until Wednesday. Nobody at the front desk in the morning to talk to. Could not use many electrical outlets because plugs would no go in or stay in. Will never come back again. Also, why are you renting rooms on hotels.com with a jetted tub and then you get there and find out that you don’t have any of those anymore because of the renovations. I did say one of the partially renovated rooms I guess and the TV didn’t work none of the outlets worked down the halls were all kinds of pain and different. It really was just the most awful experience and I never really bad reviews, but do yourself a favor and save yourself from ruining your business by shutting down and then reopening when it’s done Take it from me. This hotel is aweful. To begin, we couldn't check in when we arrived because "the entire Wyndam system is down". Then 20 minutes later I could, but was rushing so we could get to the event we came here for, close to on time. Anyway, we got back at 1am and the walls are paper thin, so we heard all the people in the halls and close rooms. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Paint fumes and lights shorted out when I tried to plug in my phone charger. The hotel was under major construction with people loitering all around. My friend did not feel safe so we did not stay. Because she went to check out the room before deciding whether to stay or not, it was considered a check in and nonrefundable. Hotel clerk first claimed that they called to tell me they were under renovations. Then he said he did not have my phone number because i booked through third party. Then he said that he explained to my friend that he could cancel with refund if she is not satisfied unless she goes to the room. My friend claims that nothing like that was ever discussed.
