Weekend get away

Honestly was initially skeptical about the property but upon entering I was actually impressed. Was much more roomy than I thought. The WiFi was kind of terrible but I’m sure that has to do with the service. Boat slip was amazing. Made it a breeze parking the boat

House on the lake
The house is nice. It could use some tlc and be a little cleaner. However, it's a house rental on the lake. It has all the necessities needed for your stay. The boat slip was such a great thing to have. The porch was our favorite place. Roomy and comfy to visit with everyone. The air conditioners are amazing and you will definitely not get hot in that house.

Was very simple googled lake Eufaula cabins, found the 1250 sqf dbl wide manufacturered home. Booked our dates and paid. Loved all the things provided and the lake view and you just might see as we did 8 deer of different ages just looking at you as you are taking pictures of them eating.

The home was comfortable in spite of ill-fitting doors and fixtures. In need of some TLC. Kitchen well stocked, but floor needed cleaning.

Great weekend getaway
We really enjoyed the lake cabin. Very clean and easy check in. Great location with a dock. We really enjoyed the huge lake facing deck. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need to cook any meal. We'll be back.

All reviews were not accurate
The location was great. But all Towels were very old and not useable. I tried to used Jacuzzi but we run out of the hot water after 20 minutes. All staff was very old. My kids said we are in Museum. All TV were very old version. None of bedrooms had a lock. The heater was very noisy. Outside was messy and wasn’t clean.

Hi Zahra, these homeowners work hard to provide a five-star stay for all their guests, so they were very disappointed by your feedback. - They assured us that the house is just as advertised and very well-kept. It is not a brand new home, but they regularly replace items when needed, and it is professionally cleaned between each guest. - The TVs were replaced two years ago, and they recently purchased new towels. - The owners also confirmed that all bedroom doors lock; you just need to push the knob in and turn. - The homeowners were not informed of any concerns while you were in residence, but they would have been happy to help in any way they could to provide a more enjoyable stay!

Awesome place!
Quiet neighborhood. Nice clean house, kitchen was updated and well stocked. Really nice deck with seating. The private boat slip is just a few minutes away from the boat ramp.

Cozy. It rained the whole time but fortunately the covered patio is awesome and the kitchen was very well equipped . Internet was plenty fast. Wished I had a boat to explore the lake more.

Inside older but clean. Furnace worked but made scary noises starting up. Hall bath shower seemed to leak. Outside and grill should have been cleaned! We had a good time.

If you just want a place to sleep while you're laking, this is a great location. The house is outdated by far, but the covered deck makes up for it!

Private dock if you can run off locals who ‘know the owner so it’s ok for them to use the property’. Private and peaceful after the elbow-to-elbow neighbor bangs his door open to yell at his dog who’s been barking from 10pm-1am. Gather around the firepit at your own risk—uneven treacherous stone surround. Tv reception is 4 PBS channels, news recycled 1 hr programs. Good kitchen appliances, everything in cupboards is garage sale stuff. Pantry items consist of salt, pepper, and old spices that have lost all smell. Jacuzzi tub didn’t look like it would support weight of water and person, faucets without handles kept us out. Lake view would have been better with some pruning and removal of dead branches hung up in trees that blew down on us and car during strong winds. Master shower floor is slippery as is little rug in front of it — getting out over the high threshold was like ice skating. A lunge to grab the basin save me from a fall. Questions were not answered before visit. There is no internet available. Sprint, Mobile and AT&T provided 1 bar of cell service that often dropped calls altogether. Driveway provides 3 spaces on unevenly placed stones and gravel. Roadside parking obstructs traffic and is rewarded by yelling oldies in golf carts. Construction noise across the street quiets down after normal 40 hour work week. Lots of furniture not shown in photos obstructs straight-path walking inside. We rolled up and stashed all little rugs inside, pushed furniture out of the way, and pulled chair close to the front porch to use chair back as a banister onto the deck. A beds appear new. Carpet looks new, bad installation is tripping hazard where glued to floor, doors don’t close easily if at all. You learn to sleep thru the noise of the air conditioners. The place is a handyman’s nightmare — no easy fix for most things, replacement the only answer. We left early because I couldn’t stand the cockroaches (both dead and alive) any longer. The toilet in the second bath runs constantly. I have requested a refund for unused days and a rebate for misrepresentation for the time we were there. We had scheduled a get-together for 8 adults from different states for the Saturday we were there. 3 of them rented tents at campground 2 others rented hotel room, 3 drove in from home. My husband and I were the only ones brave/foolish enough to stay. We purchased a Keurig machine at Walmart and left it for future tenants. Rent is too expensive for these conditions.

Awesome Lake Place!
We stayed here for a week and had a great time...this place had everything that we needed and we really enjoyed having use of the boat slip. If you want a place to get away from it all and access to the water this is a great place to stay. The large deck was an awesome place to drink the morning coffee and listen to the sounds of nature. The only negative thing I can say is the refrigerator wreaked of fish, probably from the previous guest and there were some weeds that had grown up where we walked to get to the boat slip. Other than those minor issues the stay could not have been better. We will return! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Nice place, close to dock, had a plumbing issue and the owner took care of it quickly...
The location was easy to find. It is located close to a the town of Eufaula and very close to a shell station (ice). The boat ramp is just right their in the neighborhood and the dock was in good shape. The porch was very large and in good shape. The central A/C did not work, but each room had a window unit in it (they worked great). I actually like the individual ac units better, it allowed us to keep each room to the preferred temp for each guest. I got to know Johnny one of the neighbors, he feeds the deer so their were a lot of deer to look at (very nice)! We set jug lines all over the south side of the lake but caught the largest Blue cat about 50 yards away from our dock. The driveway is a little small and real steep, but overall it a very nice place. I would rent it again.

Rented for fishing trip
There were six of us guys and it was perfect for a long weekend fishing trip. Could have used a few things. A few better skillets to cook with and a railing down to the dock but otherwise overall great for what we needed. . As expected we spent all of our time out on the porch Andy it worked out perfect!
