Good kitchen appliances, everything in cupboards is garage sale stuff. Pantry items consist of salt, pepper, and old spices that have lost all smell. Jacuzzi tub didn’t look like it would support weight of water and person, faucets without handles kept us out. Lake view would have been better with some pruning and removal of dead branches hung up in trees that blew down on us and car during strong winds. Master shower floor is slippery as is little rug in front of it — getting out over the high threshold was like ice skating. A lunge to grab the basin save me from a fall. Questions were not answered before visit. There is no internet available. Sprint, Mobile and AT&T provided 1 bar of cell service that often dropped calls altogether. Driveway provides 3 spaces on unevenly placed stones and gravel. Roadside parking obstructs traffic and is rewarded by yelling oldies in golf carts. Construction noise across the street quiets down after normal 40 hour work week. Lots of furniture not shown in photos obstructs straight-path walking inside. We rolled up and stashed all little rugs inside, pushed furniture out of the way, and pulled chair close to the front porch to use chair back as a banister onto the deck. A beds appear new. Carpet looks new, bad installation is tripping hazard where glued to floor, doors don’t close easily if at all. You learn to sleep thru the noise of the air conditioners. The place is a handyman’s nightmare — no easy fix for most things, replacement the only answer. We left early because I couldn’t stand the cockroaches (both dead and alive) any longer. The toilet in the second bath runs constantly. I have requested a refund for unused days and a rebate for misrepresentation for the time we were there. We had scheduled a get-together for 8 adults from different states for the Saturday we were there. 3 of them rented tents at campground 2 others rented hotel room, 3 drove in from home. My husband and I were the only ones brave/foolish enough to stay. We purchased a Keurig machine at Walmart and left it for future tenants. Rent is too expensive for these conditions.
