The hotel looked clean and nice, but we had a bad experience at check-in which ruined our stay. The hotel clerk asked my fiance to produce paperwork to prove that we were married in order for us to share a room. We eventually got a room despite having no such paperwork. (Do married couples even carry such paperwork?!) The experience soured our experience enough that we decided to check out after a few minutes and find another hotel, despite already paying for this hotel. So if you are a married couple, be sure to bring some paperwork to prove that you are married! So I concluded that the room condition was not so well. What I love most is the service! They provide free shuttle service! Not every hotel does this. They brought us to wherever we wanted to go. And the front desk service is very attentive. The staff changed the Doona cover, bed sheets on request but when asked why the bed sheets were not ironed they said they don't do this. The walls on the room had stains, bathroom bath mat had stains had to ask for a new mat, ceiling was mouldy. So uncomfortable, feeling unrelaxed and disgusted with the lack of cleanliness I checked out didn't stay the night. Made this booking based on reviews that the hotel was new, this was not the case. Quite the opposite, dated, poorly maintained.
