Staff was very helpful, but only one member spoke English. The charming lady who welcomed us made good use of Google Translate. Perhaps even better than the hotel is the nature reserve in which it's located. The drive up the mountain is long and somewhat difficult, but well worth it."

"We had a wonderful stay at Monsignor della Casa Country Resort & Spa! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning Tuscan countryside. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect place to stay with young children and an excellent base for exploring Tuscany. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it!"

"Oh my! How adorable is this house?! Gianna is a wonderful host and even brought us zucchinis and aubergines(eggplants) from her garden as well as a bottle of her house olive oil from her grove. I just loved the whole place. The kitchen is great for cooking, the bed is very comfortable, with plenty of stairs in between. Beautiful grounds with olive groves. Lovely. Unfortunately, we both caught a cold on the train. The silver lining is we had a beautiful place to rest and recuperate. We stayed 8 nights and would definitely stay again."

The pool area could have been spruced up a bit with some better furniture, but the room was beautiful. Be careful when using the shower as well as it is easy for the water to spray onto the floor. Make sure you understand where the property is located before booking as it is quite a ways outside of Florence city center. I rented a car and drove through the Tuscan hills to arrive."

"If you want to experience a more home like setting with welcoming host away from all the tourist this is the place for you! Beautiful farmhouse only 30 minutes outside of Florence. Home prepared meals with local or home grown produce on fine antique china. Overlooks mountains and Vineyards. Host cater to your preferences and very knowledgeable about area. Room was ultra modern and comfortable. Food was amazing and authentic local dishes. Highly recommended if you want to experience life outside the city."

"The Franciscan Order nuns are a delight. We enjoyed their beautiful singing at the evening worship service before dinner. The bathroom for our room was small and a wet room, so we had to wipe everything dry, after taking a shower. The beds were comfortable and the overall setting was very peaceful."
